If I am not mistaking that bolt is really just a plug. This is where the return line connects to allow the fluid to return to the sump(tank).

Some models will clear codes if you unhook the negative (-) battery cable for a few minutes….then hook it back up.

I have seen this same thing happen when the exhaust port would be stopped up nearly all the way…try pulling the muffler and check.

My son bought a stock 2021 HD 8 and it has been trouble free. I believe he added a top and both windshields. They are well build machines.

Tracnun you can verify the diameter and grade of the bolts,then lookup on the web “bolt torque chart”. This has helped me when torque values are not listed in the manuals.

Another caution is to never get oil or petroleum products on the oxygen gauge or hose fittings. It will cause a violent reaction.

I have a RCR 1872 and the manual and driveline sticker showed Part# 312-728A which replaces 826-656C. The chart I have shows the same spring measurements as the 826-656C.

If yours is hydrostatic it will be on the right side of the transmission case. The left side with gear drive. I have read of a few people having the solenoid valve go bad on this model. Part #1. Maybe this will help...

Yea it was easy to fix. Where the hinge was attached to a piece of angle, it had a slight twist. I was able to use a small hydraulic jack and push it back in line. Works fine now. When I get time I might weld a few small gusset plates to prevent this again.
