    M Farmall three point

Moved back to the family farm in Indiana about a year ago, and finally getting settled in on the farm. Mom just rents out all the ground and we have no equipment other than Grandpas M that he started farming with. It was our auger tractor when I was growing up. Had a manual trip loader on it...

    Bird feeder ideas

So I have three bird feeders on shepherds hooks on the back deck that I feed nyjer seed in. Problem is that they are so close to the deck that the birds poop all over the deck, and the missus is tired of it. Anyone else have any kind of set up that would get it farther away from the deck? I'd...

Tank installed, and 460 ft of pipe laid today! Still need to get all the dirt filled back in, but we were at least productive today. And I’m worn out! If my family had to depend on me to run a shovel for a living, we’d all be a lot skinnier! It’s been a great project, and after today I feel...

Price check on Kubota M7060 / other options???

I went radials and added water. I didn’t really decide on radial vs bias, I just wanted the biggest/widest that was available, and that happened to be radial. I just added water as my tractor will never be outside in freezing weather enough to freeze. Like I said I still carry ballast when...

    Tunes for the 7060!

I generally wear ear buds when I’m brush cutting, but I hate that you can’t hear what’s really going on. Definitely can’t wear them when pulling trees. Have to be able to hear what’s going on with the loader and trees, so I decided to add some tunes to my tractor. Built me a couple of plates...

    M7060 Rops 50 hour service... $1100?!

Not to stir the pot, but the 2019 7060 I just bought says the only thing to change is the oil and filter at 50 hours. Everything else is just a check over. My manual doesn’t say anything about changing the hydraulic filter until 500 hours and the hydraulic fluid not until 1000 hours.

One side of weights on! The weights have been a bit of an issue with the tractor too. When I sent my quote to the dealer it had three sets of rear wheel weights, three per side. And it is worded (in my opinion) like each weight is 164 lbs. so I thought I was getting three sets of rear wheel...
