I'm surprised by the amount of responses.

I'm curious as to how many people on this site own one of these machines, gear driven and G3038's as well. If so, what year, how many hours and what repairs done, if any. I have owned my 2013 G3033H with 422 hours for almost 2 years and replaced all filters and the backhoe bucket curl hose.

Do you have one, if so, what's its condition, year and hours?

I bought a LS fuel filter #40006997 and received it. It's in a factory looking box. Are they typically wrapped in plastic film and is there an O-ring included for the water sensor?

I had a hose made up recently for my LB1100 hoe at my local NAPA store. The original hose had a pin hole leak in the hose itself. I've never seen a pin hole before. Always figured they just blew out or were fine. The new hose was almost $70.

No, a handheld heat gun. It's pretty powerful. I tried it before breaking out the torch.

Update!: I used a heavy duty heat gun and applied a lot of heat to the cylinder end that the pin goes through and finally got some grease to ooze out where it should.

I can't get grease into the swing cylinder pins. I've installed new zerk fittings. I decided to remove the pins from the swing frame assembly to look for a reason why they won't take grease. You've probably finished changing out your T-stat by now. I've got a somewhat similar tractor and replaced the T-stat last fall by releasing the two bolts on the front of the tank (which was nearly full) and supported it with some lumber pieces. It wasn't easy but it can be done.

Where would be the best location to hook a chain on either end to be able to pull something heavy?
