Installing the roosa master injection pump back on the driveshaft after a rebuild. Anyone know how this tool is meant to be oriented? I'm thinking the beveled side with the notch goes facing the injection pump. Has anyone used one of these? Joe

1973 820. Transfer pump looks rough, but seems to pump well. Cut off solenoid audibly engages with the switch.

Would one check by opening the drain plugs to see if there is water at the bottom of the case? The hydraulic fluid was changed spring 2021.

I was surprised that that the pitted line was the one with the leak (not the patched one). Is it typical to see this much foaming for a line leak?

A&I (Left) John Deere (Right). The center in positive and corresponds to terminal 30 in the wiring diagram.

Power is the middle terminal. I ordered the JD version with a key for around $70. I'll post a photo of it when I get it.

In the process of changing the hydraulic filter I broke the left brake line. I have a replacement in order AR65686. Any tricks to bleeding the lines. Is this more difficult on an open hydraulic system? thanks again, Joe arrow points forward

Hello all! Any advice about a few hydraulic leaks in a 1973 John Deere 820. There is a leak coming from the base of the steering column and another on the right side below the seat from a small metal line (presumably a hydraulic return).
