    Mice got me!

What is the best poison for mice now? I use to buy the granular De-Con, but haven't seen it locally in a while. I want to kill them. ALL. I don't have to worry about children or pets. I just want to stack little mouse bodies.

    Your towing rigs and trailers

Hauled my Mahindra home from the farm to get the brakes repaired again. Right side is locking up and not wanting to let go. My local dealer (who really is customer oriented) replaced brakes over the winter and they worked great until a couple weeks ago. 90 miles one way. I usually get 19 mpg...

    Case Farmall 75A review

I don't know anything about the 3rd function kit- other than it was an option I didn't get. Update on my 75A- Dealer adjusted clutch. They said it didn't appear that anything was wrong with it, or broken. Seems weird that with only 175 or so hours it would need it, unless something was...

    Case Farmall 75A review

Almost 2 years into ownership and around 180 hours. The tractor is being picked up by our local Case dealer on Friday for a couple warranty items. There's a real small brake fluid leak. I've had to top off the reservoir three times in the 22 or so months I've had it. Leak is coming from...

    Farm UTV/RTV Purchase

I've had a Kawasaki Mule Pro-FXT for 2 years now. Around 700 miles on it- none of which have been asphalt. The convertible 3 seater/long bed to 6 seater/short bed is fantastic. It isn't the fastest UTV by a long shot, but it runs great, has plenty of power, and is a work horse. I have no...

Towing a CUT with a nissan titan

I have a 2012 Titan- tow rating is pretty much the same as the new ones. (Just bought a 2021 Titan too, but haven't pulled anything with it yet.) You'll be fine with enough tongue weight. I've towed without a WD hitch things that perhaps exceeded the max tow rating of the 2012. It handled...

Help with John Deere 110 TLB 3 point please

That is how I installed these stabilizers on my tractor. The shackles and pins worked for me- I put one side of the shackle between the two holes in the bracket, other side of the shackle outside of the bracket. I had to cut the chain as the shackle wouldn't go through the link with the extra...

Looking for a new tractor in the 75hp range

I have a Case Farmall 75A cabbed, with power shuttle transmission. Both are of course options. But you're correct, the loader capacity of the 75A is considerably less than JD.

Looking for a new tractor in the 75hp range

I would think the 5E equivalent would be the Farmall A. The M is more like the C I think.

    Case Farmall 75A review

I'll be back on it Saturday and try to get some more video. It's certainly not a "set it and forget it" implement- seems like whatever I'm mowing with it takes a lot of attention and adjustment, but these are also the areas that the only other way to mow would be with a weed eater.

    Case Farmall 75A review

It's been a while since I've updated- software patch, or new batteries, fixed the starting issue. No more problems with slow starts. Grass and weeds are growing like crazy, so I've been back on mowing. 3 point attachments are getting easier to connect as my experience with each of them...

Cub Cadet Pro Z - Any Experience?

I bought a Pro Z 972 SD back in the fall to mow my pond dam and areas around it. So far I have about 30 hours on it and it's an amazing piece of equipment. It will hold side hills better than my 10K pound tractor. Even with the steering wheel, it's as maneuverable as a traditional zero turn...

Help with John Deere 110 TLB 3 point please

Yes, you'll need 2. They are not left-right dependent. They are simple enough to install, but you'll need to cut a few links off each chain. I used a band saw. The opposite end bolts right up to your 3 point arm in the same hole that the factory stabilizers bolt. There are no instructions...

Help with John Deere 110 TLB 3 point please

Some coincidence- I had a similar issue to yours just a month ago. I've owned my 110TLB since about 2004. Until March I hadn't had the backhoe off for likely a decade. Took it off without much work, and I couldn't find my stabilizer bars. (just like the ones you have pictured) I bought a...

You guys were right...I'm selling one tractor and I bought a Zero Turn for my hilly property.

I have a Pro Z 972 SD for my farm. It's a beast. Side mowing is more stable than up/down. Hills that are scary on a tractor are a piece of cake. But, like one of the guys said above- it's heavy. I've had it hung up a couple times in the soft creek bank area.

Anyone try to buy a trailer lately?

Broke the new trailer in on Saturday. Picked up my 8' rotary cutter from the shop (One year old- trashed gear box replaced under warranty) and took my 7' box blade back to the farm. I had the shop load the cutter, and I loaded the box blade at home. Should have had the cutter a little more to...

Anyone try to buy a trailer lately?

I just bought a 18' 10K Gatormade GT-XT yesterday. Found a small local dealer with one left from February. It was $800 cheaper than picking one up at Gatormade's factory in Somerset, KY. And saved me almost 2 hours of drive. But most dealers around here real low on inventory, and even taking...

    2021 New Holland Workmaster 75

I have had the red version (Case Farmall 75A) for a year now. Here's my thread on it- Case Farmall 75A review I've really enjoyed this tractor, and there's nothing I feel it's lacking.

    Case Farmall 75A review

All through summer I use the tractor weekly. (My farm is 1.5 hours from the house) We may have enough weeks of winter left to see if I'm going to need to do something different though- it's been so wet I don't want to track up the fields, so could still be a few weeks before I get it out...

    Case Farmall 75A review

Weather has been crummy, and except for cutting a couple cedars and moving the brush, I haven't had much tractor work to do in last couple months. I did have a dead battery during a cold snap about a month ago. Put a jump pack on it and the tractor fired right up. Ran it around a while...

    Kawasaki's New Mule Pro MX?

I bought a Pro FXT EPS about 11 months ago to use on the farm. It's been even more valuable than I imagined. Currently has a little over 400 miles on it and we never leave the property with it. We've towed a trailer loaded with brush and hauled lots of rock, dirt, firewood, scrap wood, a 100...

It's been a couple months since I updated. I only have opportunity to use the tractor on weekends- but I'm up to about 108 hours. I took the standard rotary mower off a couple weeks ago and put my ditch bank mower back on. Now I'm cutting along the roads, pond bank, and creeks again. But...

    JD 110 TLB equivalent?

I bought a JD 110 TLB new off the dealer lot about 15 years ago. It's been a good machine- just the right size for my business. I figure I can still get a couple + more years out of it, but I'd like to budget a replacement. Is there anyone other than Kubota with their L47 that makes a...

suggestions requested -mowing side of driveway 45 degrees

I have a Woods ditch bank mower. DBH-5.30. It works really well for areas like you show. With the mower deck extended, it will mow right at 9' out from the tractor tire. But, it's heavy. About 2,000#s. And Woods says you need a minimum of 60 HP at PTO. I bought to mow the same type...

    Case Farmall 75A review

I put about 15 hours on my 75A over the weekend mowing. I'm up to around 83 hours now on the tractor. The intermittent low fuel warning hasn't come on in about 20 hours, and the fuel gauge is operating correctly. I don't like knowing what the problem is, but glad it went away. The comfort...

    Case Farmall 75A review

Big thanks to Bigpaddie- I looked at the steering stops this morning and sure enough, on each sides bolt there were two shims. One thick and one thin. I took the thin one Off each side and it made a big difference! I mowed about 5 hours afterwards and have no issues w articulation or rubbing...

Not a lot of info on the A series utility tractors on the net- so I'm going to update this as I use the tractor. Purchased back in either Jan or Feb from my local Case dealer. They had this 75A in inventory at the time. This particular tractor has the following options- cab, front end...

    Woods DBH5.30 or similar experiences?

Found a great deal on a one year old used DBH5.30. Drove 6 hours each way yesterday to bring it home. I have about 5 more acres to mow with my 8' mounted brush cutter before switching over to the ditch bank mower, but I'm excited to try it out. I'll update after it's cut some ditch banks.

    Looking for Workmaster 75 Reviews

I'm on a computer this morning, which I find so much easier to use than my phone for this website. Here's a pic from this weekend- I've done about 10 hours of rotary cutting with it this month. Since you're looking at the NH, ignore the color. Everything I've read says the Case and NH are...

    Woods DBH5.30 or similar experiences?

Does anyone have experience with the Woods Ditch bank mower DBH5.30? I've been considering offset flail mowers, but I have enough brush, and unknown underlying rocks, I think a rotary would do a better job (at least less maintenance for me). I have approx 4.6 miles of roadway and woods line to...

    Farmall 75A vs 75C

Finally got to do some mowing yesterday. Here are my thoughts on the 75A after about 3 hours of cutting- The cab is quiet. Even with the motor running at 2,000 rpm and the cutter turning, the a/c blower is the loudest thing you hear. And it's a good thing it's efficient. The cab has so much...
