I never did that, but I did have to remove the brake master cylinder to change the rearmost plug on the driver’s side. Really dumb engineering, especially since sparkplugs were fairly short-lived back then. It was a ‘68 Mustang with the 390 V8.
I added two of the Boltonhooks to top of my Deere 325 bucket. Very nicely made. Tried lifting something too heavy and now the top edge of the bucket is a little wavy. I highly recommend reinforcing the bucket before adding hooks.
Interesting takes from around the country. Here we use #57 granite gravel as a base, then follow up with crush & run. The combination turns into a very hard surface which resists potholes and erosion. Proper crowning required, of course.
