    HST fan replacement for GC1720

I am not sure how others have replaced the HST fan but it was a real pain. I had to take the floorboards off to get some clearance and still had to bend the blades weakening it in the process to get it to go in.

3-Point Hitch Pat's easy change on GC1720 TLB

Ok, here is what it looks like. I think I will manage placing my feet out of the way. Haven’t tried using the backhoe yet but will get a chance today. The pats look like it will be a lot easier for rear hitch.

Once I have it, I will take pictures. Looking forward to making this easier. Fighting to get the rear blade on and off is no fun at all.

    Loader Quick attach for GC1720

This looks a bit more well built to me so I am glad I got this. The bucket is also taller so I feel like it’s an upgrade. My dealer who I got the tractor from offered $150 for the old bucket. I can probably get more but he has a used box blade he is selling me for $300 so I am going to go...

    Loader Quick attach for GC1720

Well, it’s installed. Excited about all the potential now for attachments. Looking to buy this and welding it on the old bucket after I remove the brackets behind the bucket for the pins. YINTATECH 5/16" Skid Steer Mount Plate Quick Attachment Loader Plate Compatible for Kubota Bobcat...

    Loader  Quick attach for GC1720

I got quoted $1100 plus tax for a quick attach (650) plus bucket (450) plus tax for my GC1720 DL95. I was thinking if I convert my existing bucket to a quick attach (maybe another $300 parts and labor), I can dedicate that bucket for the BXpanded Piranha tooth bar. Its a lot of money and I...

3-Point Hitch  Pat's easy change on GC1720 TLB

I am considering Pat's easy change. Anyone using it on a GC1700 (GC1720 with CB65 to be exact)? I want a easy system, but I am worried about clearance when the backhoe is on. Having to uninstall it would defeat the purpose since it seems like an involved process (shims, u-bolts) installing...

    Valvoline premium blue 15w-40

Yes, it is diesel rated. I plan on keeping it in my garage (lightly heated). This would just be for the warmer months but as suggested, different weight for winter. I read the reviews on tractor supply for travelers hydraulic fluid and saw that some experienced water in them due to the...

    Valvoline premium blue 15w-40

Is this okay for my tractor? They have this at the tractor supply so I grabbed it. I am happy to take it back if it will cause any problems. Picked up all the filters from a dealer so they are all AGCO. I need to get some hydraulic fluid but that’s for tomorrow.

Thank you! Hope you are enjoying retirement. Mostly clay and shale where I am. not sure how easy it is to tell but some bare clay is showing on the right. This stuff is so heavy and clings to everything when wet.

Box Scraper 5’ box blade recommendations

Thanks for the advance! this is what need to maintain. Would a box blade be the right implement for this? Should I consider a back blade or rake? I have other uses for a box blade so if that will work, all the better.

Thank you all for the welcome. Here Os the tractor stuck in the mud (clay) before I used the backhoe and tow straps to get unstuck.

Box Scraper  5’ box blade recommendations

I need a box blade for a MF GC1720. Just a home owner so don’t need the best one out there. Saw this one on Facebook not to far from me. Does it seem like a good deal?

Always dreamed of owning a tractor. Now, it’s a reality. I just got a great deal on a 2017 MF GC1720 TLB with only 217 hours on it. I only have a few acres most of it are hills. Got stuck on a slope last weekend but I was able to use the backhoe to get unstuck. Spread about 15 ton of rocks...
