Get Brotek spacers, they are the best bang for the $$$, I put 1.5 spacers mostly to make room for chains in the winter. But added 3'' overall.

Just do engine oil annually, HST/Hydraulic is a closed system and doesn't nearly see the heat and abuse engine oil sees.

These T474 are excellent companions for most common things a homeowner/small homestead can get into. I'm starting my side gig mowing pastures on the side for this season.

They can be ignored, the engine is not aware of their presence. The DPF ECU just shuts the valve at exhaust when regen is requested so temp can rise for the process.

I think you got out of it on the cheap as in no noticeable damage. These appear to be fairly common among most brands anyway. Tho "establish" brands love to tell other brands how junky their "other" brand of tractor is. Shouldn't take too much to fix I hope?

Pats Quick hitch system is highly recommended, it is similar to the Euro system in many ways.

If you work them like diesel engines are supposed to do, and do not idle for extensive periods and lumping along at low rpms. They seem to do passive regen just fine. Like when I do mowing with my 6' rotary mower for hours at 2400 rpms it just never need to do a requested regen.

I do, had it for 5 years now, working really well. 600h with no regen nor problems to speak of. Here it's doing its main purpose, pulling winter duties.

You're overthinking it, if the tractor sits under roof it is even less chance of getting moisture in place where it shouldn't be. I have a 2019 tractor I got in 2020, and I just have 585h on it.

I know many 1st time tractor owners get the 2515 as their 1st one, but hot damn that sucks.

The LM45H is a TYM T454, so once out of warranty your best bet is try to get a good relationship with a TYM dealer that has a good shop. Parts should be plentyful available for the future. I think the T454 is still in production too.

Just get the 2022 one, I don't have extender 3 point arms. Mine did come with a rear window wiper. Mine is a 2019 early production.

I know, Pat's is kinda of a copy of the Euro hooks for smaller tractors. I see they are more common on 100Hp+ AG tractor here in the US.

Pat's is the best system I think overall for compact tractors indeed. Them framed QH are junk, I messed with it for over a year with bushing and crap. Took it to the scrap yard and got Pat's.

It's more of a "depended of your intent of area of use" with it, the common agreement if you're using more ground engaging attachment a geared tractor is best. If you do loader work then a HST is better. But HST's has more loss of HP to PTO indeed, I have 48.3Hp on my TYM and I do just fine with...

Some claim threads are BSP (British Standard Pipe) or metric. The confusion is still a fact on that one.

Yes, I've seen T754's down to 35K, and I almost jumped on that one even tho I don't need that big of a tractor.

The T474 doesn't appear to have much front end problems (compared to T574), but if I were you I'd look for a 4820 if I wanted 48Hp engine and a 5520 if you wanted a 55Hp tractor. THe legacy Branson models are really well built.

Better hope you learn your own tractor to know since you're 3 hours away from a dealer anyway. Enjoy the good price and learn all about it. I service my own T474 even tho I only live 20 minutes from my dealer. I've never needed them for warranty work.

TYM (Kukje engines) are more reliable because of the mechanical injected feature, I see all too many issues with regen on LS engines. They sell the 5520 and 574 with 55Hp on turbos. VERY reliable engines.

One would be foolish not to follow daily check items before a long day of service. One of them is to check the fuel water separator. The Kubota Grand L6060 are SOLID tractors.

Now that's a Buell that is highly interesting. Never was much for the HD motors in the other Buells....but this makes it worth it.

Well winter has arrived, 1st time since 2018 I've had to plow 3 mornings in a row. Finally this machine is coming into it's rightful element and purpose why I bought it in 2020.

I love my pull type blower for use here in the Flathead of NW MT. It's great for areas that doesn't drift, for that open rear or front mount aces that. But for my use, don't want to be without it. Fast too......since it uses lower rpm but more torque at 540 PTO speed.

My TYM T474 (48.3Hp) is a mechanical injected diesel even to its Tier 4 DPF. I have 565h on it without issues. Most under 25Hp comes with mechanical injection too.

Yes I have a TYM T474 Cab HST with the mechanical injected engine that was made on license at one time from Cummins but made by Kukje/TYM Engine A2300N4. 560h without regen or any issue.

Hard to go wrong with any trygg branded chains, get the most agressive chain with studs from trygg that will fit under your fender.

It should work ok, but the best would be to do an all out delete of the lifters and such to increase reliability. But I had a Pontiac G8GT with an L76 with this system, and I had it disabled in a tune. And it never gave me any oil consumption problems.

I can highly recommend any GMC/Chevy truck within the years of 2000 - 2006 in gasoline V8 1500/2500. I have two 2004 trucks, one 1500 and one Duramax 2500. VERY reliable trucks.........

TYM makes their own machines too 100% They do source engines from Deutz and Yanmar on a few models.

It's a MUCH more capable machine than the 573, FEL lift capacity almost as much as the 754.

The 5835R is coming out as a cab 4058 model in early 2025 FYI. And I am thinking REALLY hard about possible upgrading to it one day.

Do you have a TYM dealer in your area? Have you checked out the TYM 2515r (shuttle) or h (Hydrostat model), comes in ROPS but with cab over new years for $$$. But that lifts 2200# on FEL. Don't know if ROPS or Cabs are preferred for ya. But if you have a set budget in mind under$20k maybe ROPS...

I use Cambium E410 and an outside E500 accesspoint. I manage these on Cambiums free cloud management tool, but this is enterprise grade Wifi solution. They are not cheap, but work awesome, and oh....I'm an IT manager for a large equipment rental company, so I do this for a living.

That's the ONLY drawback I've found with the 4 digit legacy TYM's, the 3rd function is a 1 button diverter kit unfortunately. I wish TYM would re-engineer them to the 474/574 setup with dedicated 3rd function 2 button setup with hard lines most of the way.

My guess is that Bercomac made them. And no is the answer if FEL and front snowblower can co-exist. A cab is almost a must when using a front snowblower, all the drizzle will make you shiver quickly on a ROPS machine.

Not that I have found, I can turn on each individual based upon time however. So if you know it's gonna be a cold one, set it X amount of hour before you get up and turn it off at said time you start plowing etc. I've used mine for years.

Your red circle is fuel return from the injector. On my example is where the glow plug wires are hidden beneath.

The now called TYM 4720 is still in production yes.

Do you have rear remote? If so make sure it is not stuck in detent mode running all hydraulic pressure through the relief valve?

I have the smaller model T474 with the same engine as the T494, I have 535h on mine without a requested regen. And no trouble to date with it.

The TYM 5520 is an awesome tractor, if I decide to upgrade I might go for this from my T474 with 534 trouble free hours. The Kukje engine is simply awesome due to its mechanical injection and simplicity. The T474 is paid off in a year, so I think I will just keep it around for the forseeable future.

Oh it is very much an interference engine, I turned many rotations by hand to verify my work before I buttoned everything up. Took me 8hr as a novice, this was my 1st diesel engine with a timing belt job. I've done Ducati motorcycles and passenger gas vehicles plenty of times before.

Warranty is only 90 days on Betstco stuff, but they always have parts.

This weekend I did a timing belt kit replacement/water pump replacement on my 2014 Cruze Turbo Diesel AND an oil change! Does that count? ;)

Sorry for your loss, I was just back Norway to visit with my old folks who are in the process of having their house rebuilt after losing all in a fire Feb 23.

I have a 2019, it didn't come with extendable 3 point lower arms was all that differs from current models, and park lights are oval and orange versus square and white/orange. I have R4 tires and mine was 64'' wide factory. I've now added 1.5'' wheels spacers to add 3'' total width to mine.

I would recommend the factory 3rd function kit, it has steel lines most of the way and is made to use the 2 buttons on the joystick. WR long kits have had moisture get into a printed circuit board on the bottom of the valve rendering them useless.

The 2515 is the best value for the dollar on the 25Hp category indeed. With a gear selector transmission, is better than an HST in this low HP cat.

My Betstco FH-AGL165 ditch bank mower had both cylinders fail after 60h use. Took it to a local hydraulic shop, they diagnosed it as piston was install backwards from factory......wearing out seals prematurely. $861 it got honed, piston assembled correctly and countersunk port holes.

Could you describe WHERE under the cab it is located? I haven't had a problem in 490h yet, but who knows?

These are Kukje licensed made Cummins A2300N2/N4 series. Gasket kits from China should be fine, most of them are Kukje Machinery labeled kits from what I have seen.

Congrats on the new LS. Also a common thing we new tractor owners do is do all too often. It's a tractor, not a skidsteer, be careful on not put too much force on the front end loader when trying to break ground etc. A cutting edge is much preferred, if you need to cut into sod or hard packed...
