So many ways to do this. When I’m loading out trucks I usually load from top of pile. Since you say your hoe won’t cut it just pull some down from pile. Enough to make pad to get you elevated. Then pull down another pile beside you to dig from.

Wouldn’t be hard at all to weld a small step on it. Maybe an extra 15 min. It has 1/4” plate on bottom too. Use the same hardware that’s already on the tractor. Just have to mark where the holes will be.

Takes all of an hour to cover the lower fuel tank with 1/4” plate and there’s no more need to worry. Will post a pic later of my mod to the flimsy guard, if you can call it that, later on.

I’ve got a dk4510. I’m 40 and I can step up on the tractor from the right side. The biggest problem is space between the loader control and gear stick. Edit: before putting tractor in woods make a better guard to cover fuel tank. I used a 1/4” steel plate and no issues since then.

The curl cylinders should hold at a given position. If not and there is no visible oil leak you prolly have an internal leak in your cylinders. Sometimes on my kioti I have to work the curl all the way down or dumped before my cylinders catch. Hope that makes sense. And back dragging even at a...

If your dealer wouldn’t warranty it, maybe you should find another dealer. Some dealers regardless of brand will try their best to get costs down. Others will do the right thing.
