    So many ways to do this. When I’m loading out trucks I usually load from top of pile. Since you say your hoe won’t cut it just pull some down from pile. Enough to make pad to get you elevated. Then pull down another pile beside you to dig from.

    I’ve got a dk4510. I’m 40 and I can step up on the tractor from the right side. The biggest problem is space between the loader control and gear stick. Edit: before putting tractor in woods make a better guard to cover fuel tank. I used a 1/4” steel plate and no issues since then.
