Tilt cylinder on Top and Tilt leaking down with use

I use the box blade a lot more than I use the rear blade and use tilt on that quite a bit. I got the T&T for the top more than the tilt, but it came as a package.

Tilt cylinder on Top and Tilt leaking down with use

That's my plan as well for now as well. I also throw the turnbuckle on when using my rear blade as it takes up all of the rear hydraulics and has its own tilt.

    I don't understand something.

I'm jealous, ATV is top on my list of things I don't have but could really use. Would help to not have to squeeze the full size through the woods and loading up the tractor or swapping implements over to "carry" implements is a real chore.

Heck if my tractor could run a dang chainsaw it'd have a lot more hours on it

Viasat and Hughesnet can go to hell. Put your name in for Starlink, it's been a life saver out in very rural Olympic Peninsula!

What have you hit with your mower lately?

What do you folks with brush hogs do for blade maintenance with stuff like this? Do you just let them ride or do you rework them when you're hitting stuff like this?

You guys are really making me feel better about my mowing experiences. What's a few basketball size rocks and logging cable compared to telephone boxes and manhole covers :p

What have you hit with your mower lately?

Yesterday after a day of mowing some pretty gnarly trails with the brush hog, I noticed a spot on the way home that I had missed. No problem, popped the PTO on and backed into it. I immediately caught something so big it stopped the tractor dead. Thankfully I had just slipped my clutch the day...

Tilt cylinder on Top and Tilt leaking down with use

Adding manual valves I have to actuate from outside almost makes me want to throw my turn buckle tilt link back on and call it a day. Something I'll have to contemplate if it's worth it.

That's an easy one. You just throw it inline on all the rear remote hoses?

Tilt cylinder on Top and Tilt leaking down with use

Wow good to know. I was having trouble finding anything exactly relevant so thanks for the info. Really appreciate the nice "upgrade" as a Grand L owner :D I freakin' love all my Kubota products, but I definitely won't defend poor design or implementation decisions! I guess it's on to the...

Very interesting, thanks. So basically, the standard rear remote valves Kubota uses just don't hold up to the weight and pressures of 3 pt implement use...

Tilt cylinder on Top and Tilt leaking down with use

Results: With everything disconnected from the tractor, there was no movement on either the top or tilt cylinder over the course of an hour. Hooked up to the tractor: Top moved from 7.5" to 8" exposed (.5") Tilt moved from 4.25" to 4.5" exposed (.25") I saw a lot more dramatic movement on...

Tilt cylinder on Top and Tilt leaking down with use

As usual, Brian to the rescue. I'm on it and will report back! Based on the four options at the end, is the implication that some control valves just leak beyond expectation and we have to work around it?

Tilt cylinder on Top and Tilt leaking down with use

Hey folks, I've got a Kubota L6060 with only about 50 hours on it, and finding that my tilt cylinder is leaking down during use such that I need to adjust my tilt cylinder every 5-10 minutes. I realize it's a relatively small cylinder holding some beefy weight, so I'm wondering if this is...

    Intellipanel Display Setting

This is excellent, thanks for posting the full list. Can you confirm this is the most up to date? I have 14.9-26 r1 and my B setting was 1919 which isn't even in the list.

New L6060, what's wrong with my rear remote?

That was my worry. I'll fiddle with the hoses to see if there's any issue there. When you say "top of stack with a flow control just under it", can you clarify what you mean by that?

New L6060, what's wrong with my rear remote?

Hey all, I just took delivery on a shiny new L6060 (woo!). While most of my implements are back ordered into oblivion, I at least got my hydraulic rear blade to play with. When I started using it I noticed something really funky with my rear remotes. I'm hoping someone could give some feedback...

Exactly my takeaway. The more debate threads I read the more questions I had. Seems like everyone has had good or bad success with each, in incredibly varied tractors and incredibly varied environments/climates. Appreciate your input for sure.

Good to hear. I am more confident knowing the R1s are same ply as the R4s for this tractor as well.

Help me decide on R1 vs R4 tires for my first tractor

I think I am going to go with the R1s for my needs. I'm wondering if you all have any input on getting a 13.6x28 vs 14.9x26 R1. I would think the wider tire may be a better option in general, but would love your thoughts. Oddly enough, the 14.9-26 actually allows for less total width of the...

Help me decide on R1 vs R4 tires for my first tractor

Thanks I'm definitely interested in feedback from other PNW folks. Tell me about it! I feel like you have to have 20+ years experience before making the decision on your first tractor! :D I was looking at the bigger sized machines but I am hesitant to go that big with how tight things can be on the property. I am moving in and will be building there and...

Help me decide on R1 vs R4 tires for my first tractor

Don't I know it. I have about half a dozen pieces of equipment or tools on order, nobody is quite sure when if ever anything will become available. I'm just going ahead with a custom order for the tractor since they don't have anything coming in that's not already sold, so I can choose which...

Help me decide on R1 vs R4 tires for my first tractor

Very good info, thanks so much. It looks like both R1 and R4 for the Grand L are 6 ply. I did have concerns that an R1 would limit FEL capacity but it sounds like with the higher ply this may not be the case? I am expecting that I'll be splitting time pretty evenly between forest trail and...

Thanks so much for the info. Beautiful set you have there, that looks like about exactly what I am planning to run on my tractor majority of the time. Help me decide on R1 vs R4 tires for my first tractor

Hi there folks, I'm in the process of purchasing my very first tractor and the only decision left to make is which tires will best fit my needs. I've read about a million threads on R1 vs R4 and it's obviously very situation-dependent, so I'm hoping you can help give me some insight for mine...
