    Would a loader for a gc1725/1723 fit on a gc1705?

I Used to own a gc2400, and remember just howwell it worked. 0 issues, so now that I'm shopping for one again I'm definitely going for a gc. The idea that any GC I purchase will be able to fit any generations attachments takes a lot of stress off. Especially living in aus where it's new, Chinese...

    Would a loader for a gc1725/1723 fit on a gc1705?

Wow, props to agco for having the tractor be that simple, most others I've seen have to have heaps of work done, and apperantly all the way from the gc2400 to now, all models are compatible with parts

    Would a loader for a gc1725/1723 fit on a gc1705?

I'd presume so, this is a similar one to what I'm looking at, just minus the MMM, and it has the loader joystick aswell as the connection points. I'm hoping it's somewhat simple, as from what I gathered to add it to a new machine was around 7000aud. I remember our old Massey had the same setup...

    Would a loader for a gc1725/1723 fit on a gc1705?

I just checked tractor data and they seem to say that they're cross compatible, so I'll ring the dealership tomorrow and ask them As for the cost, a gc+loader and mmm is 29000, but this would be 18000 for the same setup,so nearly half price overall

    Would a loader for a gc1725/1723 fit on a gc1705?

Hi all, so after some massive luck, I've found our old Massey up for sale on Facebook marketplace, pretty much in the same condition we left it in,only with 100 more hours, the owners are asking 12.5K or 8600usd. This is more than we sold it for but it's still cheaper than most stuff now. What...

    Rototiller belt conversion

Weight most definitely, as the pulley should weigh less than the engine. But torque is what concerns me quite alot, since best case scenario something breaks. Worst case something breaks and hits me

    Rototiller belt conversion

Sadly in Australia, the best we have is either namebrand (a hasquvarna is 3-4K) and the cheap Chinese tillers break really often, to the point my mate sent me his because the engine broke in 30ish hours, but it's good to know it's atleast somewhat possible, thanks mate

    Rototiller belt conversion

Hi all, hopefully this is the right place to ask, but would it be possible to convert a tiller to belt driven? Ie rip the motor off (cirlcled in red) and either add a pully ontop or add a larger engine? A mate of mine gave me one that had the engine knocked out, and I'm thinking of running it...

    TEA 20 hand start

Hi all, does anyone know if it would be possible to hand start a tea20? It has no starter motor and I figure the excersize would help if I tried crank starting, but Im worried/ don't know if it's safe or even possible

    Homemade tractor

Somehow, and don't ask my how,but if my maths right it's actually cheaper to build (when factoring in parts) a full rebuild for something like a tea20 is 1-2K, so your in 6K, whereas the homemade would be at most 5K, hence why I wanted to do it. Our prices really are just different
  11. B

    Homemade tractor

Only problem, finding an old one that can work a tiller (that isn't 80hp) is 3-4000+ and finding one that can use a midmount, or just a hydrostatic is 6-10000. For some reason our prices are really really high compared to America's, so if I got one that I'd want to use, I'd Be atleast 8-10000...

    Homemade tractor

Sadly in Australia, to get a non running tractor (that can be used with a tiller) Is atleast 3-4000, and to get one capable of mowing (older b series) ranges from 6-11000, and even the 11K ones are from early 2000. And older cub cadet s just don't exist here, that's the problem with the market...

    Homemade tractor

So, due to unforseen expenses, the whole idea of buying a tractor is un-feasable (seriously why are all the cheap tractors useless for running tillers where I am???) I've decided to build my own instead, seeing as it'll be similar cost and hopefully (slightly) more useful, but before I start I...

    Yanmar ym14

So a good friend of mine is considering picking up a yanmar YM14. So I checked tractor data and all that, And at lists it as having a cat zero three-point, and well I can't see a lawn mower having a 3-point hitch, so for any yanmar owners, do/would this have a 3point or mounting for one? I...

What size tiller would be best for a tea 20 In clay soil

So, after the advice when looking at tillers being buy more expensive, and not wanting to drop 2000$ on a used lawn ornament or 4500$ on a new hasquvarna that's 8hp. So I decided to say screw it and look at an older tea20 or David brown, I'm still switching between the two. However what would be...

    B7100 front driveshaft

Well, atm they haven't even responded so I'd assume it was broken for another reason, so I ended up deciding to bite the bullet and buy new. Alot of people have mentioned buying a 6-7000$ machine, later for it to cost double in just repairs to fix
  17. B

    B7100 front driveshaft

Yeah that's exactly what concerned me, and after the seller didn't even get back to me I've just decided to bite the bullet and look at newer ones. Especially after finding out about the many horror stories of multiple 1000's needed for faulty machines it just feels safer to go new

    B7100 front driveshaft

Hi all, does anyone know the approx price for a front driveshaft for a b7100 hst? I've found one online (tractor) for 3k aud but it needs a front driveshaft, and I was considering purchasing it but I'm worried about the parts cost

Would this be worth buying? Need a 4wd mower and sofar it's far cheaper than buying a new lawnmower

Thats one thing that I'm really considering, aswell as the MMM seems to sit alot lower then our mowers deck, so it should be easier to actually fix when needed too

Would this be worth buying? Need a 4wd mower and sofar it's far cheaper than buying a new lawnmower

I was initial concerned, before realizing I'd had the deck off the lawnmower for the last weeks so it wouldn't make a difference lol, but you do raise a really good point about cleaning

Would this be worth buying? Need a 4wd mower and sofar it's far cheaper than buying a new lawnmower

Yep, dedicated dealership about 30-50 mins from me (close for Australia lol) and a partswide dealer for Kubota parts that ships from the state over, so overall there should be semi okay parts availability

In the market for a te20, which of these two would be better?

Atm I'm trying to find out, thinking of asking the seller about it

In the market for a te20, which of these two would be better?

Aud or USD? The machine would be 1900 USD roughly, and yeah I am Abit nervous about it tbh

In the market for a te20, which of these two would be better?

So, the one with the yellow slasher apperantly has had new head gasket, water pump, hoses, thermostat all replaced in the last 12 months. But it has some small oil leaks and needs the wiring sorted. It's 3.5K, all prices in aud The one with the red rust slasher is 500$ cheaper, and only needs...

Would a slasher be a good substitute for a riding mower?

Yeah that's been our experience, the old cub went for 15 years doing work that our old tractor would sometimes struggle in, little beast with no issues. But the brand new one bent a blade after striking ground in the first 5 hours (dealer messed up the deck leveling apperantly) and now a failure...
  28. B

Would a slasher be a good substitute for a riding mower?

Well the one that I'm looking at I presume is just a basic single blade unit, however there is a finishing mower for sale which I can buy well within our price range, so well probably end up doing that most likely. As all the mowers that are listed are..... Well either 950 hours or just 5k +
  29. B

Would a slasher be a good substitute for a riding mower?

Haha we are don't worry, but the nearest the dealer can fix it is the25th November, and here in aus the grass needs mowing atleast twice a week. So we're pretty much forced into buying another atleast for the meantime

Would a slasher be a good substitute for a riding mower?

Hi all, so as my last post entailed our brand new cub cadet decided to break after 60 hours. Now sadly there's no mowers available in our area (well there's one but no photos have been provided ect). Now the thing is,,there is a Massey te20 with a slasher available within the same price range...

cub cadet xt2 l46 (kawasaki) starting issues

hi all, recently purchased another cub after owning the previous for 15~ years (the engine decided to die oneday so we went out for a new one). we purchased the new one about 11 months ago, and in the first 5 hours one of the blades hit ground and flipped upwards smashing itself, then now at 60...

How important is financing/buying from a dealership?

Yeah, whislt a tiny Kubota (12-15hp ones) is perfect, due to wanting to do some ground work, and with the sheer amount of clay soil here, I'm forced to go 20hp or higher, since otherwise the equipment straight up is too weak. Lucky my local dealer sells used too so I'll go and look there
  37. B

How important is financing/buying from a dealership?

Yeah that's the road I've hit, a John Deere 855 is selling for 9K with a loader, I still have to transport it, fix it, ect. Or I can spend alittle more and buy from a dealer, I'll look around and consider (Plus paying 100$ a week is far more reasonable then the 10'000 upfront I need for a used...

How important is financing/buying from a dealership?

After finding out 99% of second hand tractors are..... Let's just say iffy, atleast in the Australian market, I was reconsidering and going to look at buying from a dealership, and found I have some options The first is to buy from a dealer, they sell euro leopard tractors (I've never heard of...

Is a John Deere 855 worth it for 8.7k aud (5.5K usd)

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1348042649056136/ Said tractor, unknown hours, but a hydrostat and with loader, seems to be in better condition then most others, especially for the aus market
  41. B

Do you guys think this lt245 is worth it?

Truth be told, the aus market is..... Well put it this way, a te20 is cheap as dirt, but anything not from the 40s and that moves is extremely expensive. A Kubota with less than 18hp often goes for around 6-10K, so extremely overpriced for what you get (semi okay lawn mowers for instance are 6K...

Do you guys think this lt245 is worth it?

Since the previous Massey I was looking at (and admittedly preparing to buy) was sold, I had another look and found this, seeing as I'm not really knowledgeable on the older Kubotas, what do you guys think of this? Whislt I was wishing for a mid-mount, sofar I've realized I'm much more...

What would anyone recommend out of these 3?

Wow really? It's homemade? Huh, well I was thinking it was an official loader which sways my opinion alot. And I'm really starting to agree with the Massey, ran the lawnmower through today (only about 200kg) but it's 2wd, and the only time it had issues was when I needed 4wd. From what I've read...

What's your general experience with the Massey subcompacts, and would you recommend them?

Hey thanks man, so I talked to him and found out it has 1500 hours, no loader, but a mid-mount, sofar the only one I have even seen with that low a price, as for condition, it's pretty good, just missing the grill on the bonnet, and it's always been serviced and maintained at the right intervals...

What would anyone recommend out of these 3?

Hey all, my 3rd and hopefully not for awhile post again, so after recommendations on my last post, I've narrowed my search down to three tractors, so I was wondering if anyone with more experience could give some insight, and just fwi all prices are aud, since for some reason our markets more...

    Would a Massey gc2400 hood fit on a gc2300?

Hypothetically let's say a friend damaged his, causing the hood to be..... Destroyed, so would it be possible to mount the hood from a 2400 on the 2300? Since that's the only hood the dealer has in stock
