add hydraulics on Case IH 845 (1980) and simple manual

It suddenly dawned on me that I could use the standard hydraulics! The double action plugs (top right) straight to the ram for horizontal movements, and the tilt ram only really needs pressure to rise, reversing down can be done by gravity! So I connected the bottom side of that ram to the...

Oh I see, float is more that 4th position that regular 3position handels/controls do not have. Thanks for explaining!

add hydraulics on Case IH 845 (1980) and simple manual

Nevermind I asked chatgpt and understand now that 'float' is a valve that lets the ram free when not operated (following the terrain for example for height control of mower) and 'blocked' is holding the ram in place when not operated (like with arm of a digger) Thanks, this is how I learn :)

add hydraulics on Case IH 845 (1980) and simple manual

Thanks LouNY, electric controls do not give that feedback that mechanical valves/handels give, but your link did make me find this which might as well replace the existing (leaky) control handle and add an extra handle at same time ! GREAT https://www.ebay.com/itm/395624385173

add hydraulics on Case IH 845 (1980) and simple manual

I've just bought a restored 845 from 1980 and attaching a mower like shown in the photo. The standard (two way action) hydraulic ram connections, are not enough to attach a side-ways moving mower that can also pivot vertically. I need to add a second pair of connections and a lever but have no...

DIY TX1510 add external hydraulics for mower rotor

Thanks for your quick reply Topsize, if indeed you mean us-gallons that means only 11 L/min can't be enough to power a hydraulic rotor. But then again also imperial-gallons at 14/min would not be enough. Good to be warned for that, I'll have to look into the PTO version and won't bother to...

DIY TX1510 add external hydraulics for mower rotor

Anybody knows what, where, how to add the external hydraulic line connectors on an Iseki TX1510? Would it be powerfull enough to activate a hydraulic rotor of a small (80cm) mower blade? I'm considering to add to my tractor this feature below, which is a fence pole mower. But I wonder is my...

Hi there, just to warn and to inspire others; I had added twinwheels to the rear about 8 years ago to not get stuck in the mudd and prevent rolling over(rops). For those of you looking ahead for information before starting this type of maintenance, every 400h, here's my experience; Access to the adjusters is really easy, although it helps to also unwind the rubbers of the cylinderheadcover as if they were nuts, in stead of forcing them off. moving round bales

Here's another fun photo of an improvisation I made to pickup lost hay bails from the hill side that had 'escaped' into the steep sides of our terrain, before I bought a grabber. But this was on my excavator, it wouldn't help on a tractor's frontloader. :) Important lesson learned however is...

    Iseki TX1510 Oil Pressure

3 weeks later, done a lot of work and I can now safely remove the manometer and rely again on my oil pressure switch. All seems to be okay! When really hot, pressure drops to just over 2 bar but switch triggers only below 1 bar, so we're gooooood :)

TX1300F tractor split: any tips or tricks?

Most importantly is to create a centre-tool before you take the old clutch off and which will garantee you can rebolt the new clutch exactly centrered. If this centering of the new clutch is done nicely, at least with attention to detail, the reassembly will go easily. If not, you might discover...

Help! Engine runs (a lot) slower when pressing the clutch

This may sound weird, but the pedal axel of the clutch runs INSIDE the axel of the left-break pedal. Cause my greaser of the clutch pedal axel was broken and axel jammed in mudd, these two rusted together during winterstop. Then at first start, I pushed in the clutch and the left break pedal...

    moving round bales

These round bails come in different sizes and also depend on type of grass that was mowed. But for a general guidance the average 1M³ bail weighs 250 kG. See photos (FR) for reference, the trailer's interior size is 1M9 x 1M1 I used to push them off of the trailer by tilting it and then...

And we're back, with again oilpressure light coming on after some towing even on horizontal level and only right after rpm drops from around 1800tpm normal work speed back to stationairy at say 800tpm. Once lit, accelerating has no further effect, pressure keeps being close to none. So that...

Pasture tow for cleaning up horse manure

pasture might have been just a poor translation I found on internet, maybe I should have used meadow or grassland. It's all the same "field" to me. In dutch we don't have so much differences, the ground here in France is mostly clay-ish. But hey, what do I know, I'm not a farmer only a guy...

Pasture tow for cleaning up horse manure

Yep that's a good tactic as well, it depends on the surface how much work it is. At our 7 hectares (17 acres) of terrain we needed a mechanised solution, because manually on a slope it is simply undoable and takes way too much of our time. We do change fields every week, so with 4 fields the...

Pasture tow for cleaning up horse manure

Thankyou, I doubted for a long time to keep on improvising or buy something used or new, but prices are unbelievably (unreasonably) high. Pasture tow for cleaning up horse manure

Did a bit of research on what to do with horse manure in our fields. Doing nothing means loss of grass and ugle stains in your terrain. Here's what I discovered: 1- Mowing it over with a flail mower distributes alright, but also takes away the grass you so much like to keep. 2- Picking it up...

It certainly is still a daily workhorse, a sort of inbetween tractor-and-car; more mobile than a tractor and the winch is very handy for all kinds of purposes (like descending in a water well of 10m deep and then discovering the battery goes flat, what a laugh my wife and I had, but she managed...

Can all tractors flip over easy?

Yes I'd wish that the politicians that "organised " throw-over of the twin towers, would have used an Inclinometer first so that it actually fell towards building7, in stead of raising only a small fire in it and having to demolish it, which then made it very clear proof of an inside job indeed...

Can all tractors flip over easy?

1- twinwheels really help, 2- realise counter weights on the front compensate for instability when lifting stuff on the rear and moving about on slopes, 3- most importantly when towing : attachementpoint should horizontally lay below the rear axel !
