    Engine block heater

I didn't get a chance to install mine as I just sold my Branson and got a Mahindra. It involves removing a plug on the block and installing the heater. Have to drain the anti freeze first. I have one for a Kukje A sries engine if that is what you have in yours. 75 dollars shipped to you. Brand new.

    woods BH9000 bucket

I may be selling my Woods BH90X soon as I cannot get a subframe mount for my Mahindra I just bought and I don't want to 3 point hitch mount it. The 90X took the place of the 9000 and I believe the difference is it has the curved boom. It has probably 100 hours of use and has a subframe mount for...

    Mahindra 2655 comments

Do you have a Mahindra hoe or other brand? i Have a Woods BH90X but Woods does not make a subframe for the Mahindras. I don't think mounting it to the three point would be a good idea.

    Mahindra 2655 comments

I pulled the plug yesterday. Lack of DPF and DEF made the final choice a bit easier. Not gonna be used hard. Just around the 8 acres for firewood and mostly snow plowing and driveway maintainance .

    TYM 494 or Branson 4820

I also considered these two and can say you made the right choice. I have had my3820i for 15 years with no problems. The engine is flawless and smooth, and the entire tractor is heavy duty.

    Mahindra 2655 comments

Very close to buying a 2020 Mahindra 2655 with just over a hundred hours. Anyone have any reasons why I should stay away from this model or brand. Never had a Mahindra before, but the emission setup on this tractor makes it very desirable to me.

Cheap heat for uncabbed tractor plus intake preheat?

I don't know about anyone else, but when I'm out plowing snow, it's my hands that get cold. I wish someone would make heated steering wheel like cars have. Shouldn't be that hard. Just a steering wheel and a bunch of adapters for various tractors. I'll take the first one. Heated covers need to...

Looking at Bad Boy Tractors, thoughts?

When I bought my Branson 15 years ago everyone on this site said we were fools for buying an off brand that would soon be out of business and leave us high and dry. I have never had one problem with my Branson and my dealer is still here and parts are easy to come by. Now I am thinking of...

    Branson glow plug discussion

I get mine straight from Cummins. They are not as expensive as going thru Branson. Just get the one for the A2300 engine. Try googling them not mentioning Branson but using Cummins.i

    T494 vs 4820

I'm looking at the same two tractors with cabs and the Branson is my choice because of the build quality and the fact that I have had my 3820i for 15 years with no problems at all. I just want a cab for winter plowing and the 3820i is in great shape with 1000 hours. The Branson is a beast and I...

What causes a circle of dead lawn grass?

From my experience it is dollar spot or brown patch or something similar and you need to treat it with a fungicide. May take more than one treatment. It can be spread to other areas of your lawn by just mowing. I prefer liquid treatment to granular.

Getting a copy of my DD214 online for Home Depot 10% veterans discount

If you need a copy of your DD214 and are getting a military discount on your property taxes, go to your Town Clerk and they will give you a copy free, usually.

    Branson brand to be discontinued?

After talking to my dealer today he says everything is tight lipped but everything seems to point to keeping the Branson line and rebadging them as TYM, They definatly wanted the engines, manufacturing capabilities and Branson reliability and build quality.

    Branson 4220 Instrument cluster problem

Just went through this with my 3820i and finally decided to replace all the fuses even though my son and i each had checked them all. After changing them everything worked. Bought a fuse tester and checked the fuses we pulled out and two were bad, but they both looked good when we eyeballed...

Looking for advice on zero turn mower

After owning my Exmark for 17 years with really no problems other than spindle bearings, I decided to get a new one. Went to my dealer and was disappointed in the new Exmarks. Seems they haven't kept up with the times. The products seemed cheaply made and top dollar prices. Dealer seemed...

    NGK Y112TS Glow Plug

    Anyone insured?

I recently had a dead tree fall on my tractor (and me) when I was doing firewood in the woods. Called my agent and they had someone out the next day to look at the tractor and the location of the incident to verify it happened on my property. The adjuster admitted he new very little about...

    Branson 3820i loader valve

Surplus Center does not have a loader valve that will work on this tractor because of the orientation of the work ports versus the joystick.

    Branson 3820i loader valve

Long story short I broke the loader control valve on my 3820i which has the BL20S loader. I need a new one and Branson thinks I'm rich and wants 828 dollars for a new one. I know I can use a Prince or Brande etc, but which one is my question? Can anyone help with this ? I have rear remotes which...

    Bad Boy Magnum issues

On my zero turn it was a bad coil. It had two coil packs, so I replaced them both. Dealer had thought it was fuel related and rebuilt the carb, changed fuel filter etc. Most dealers today just throw parts at a problem hoping something will work. Anytime you have an engine that acts up after it...

    Branson BL20 Loader

I need to replace a grease zerk on my BL20 loader and cannot find a zerk to fit. My dealer has not been much help in this matter, but otherwise has been great. He asked Branson about it and never got a response. I have tried regular thread, metric, and British, and none seem to want to go in...

    Pressure washer

I'm going to be looking to purchase a pressure washer in the near future. I'm going to be looking for one with a Honda engine of at least 9 H.P. with at least 3500 P.S.I. and 3.5 G.P.M. I'm told to get one with a Cat pump. I see some with A.R. pumps and some with Cat triplex pumps, some with...

    Keeping hands warm

Has anyone found gloves that will keep your hands warm while on your tractor plowing snow for a couple of hours. I have clothes that keep the rest of my body warm, but my fingers are another story. I just bought a pair of Cabelas Pinnacle gloves for $100 that were supposed to be great to below...

    Branson 3820i fuel pump

For the past week I have noticed that when I put my key on, my fuel pump does not make the clicking noise. But it starts right up, and has given me no problems. Anyone else ever experience that? I can only assume I'll be heading to NAPA for a new one shortly. Hope it doesn't go in the middle of...

    Branson glow plugs

My Branson 3820i is not starting well this winter. It seems to me that the glow plugs are not working, as when I use them several times it starts no better than trying to start it cold. What is the best way to check to see if they are working. I know on our one ton diesel truck we had the same...

    Branson 4WD

Anyone ever lost 4WD on their Branson? Mine quit today while plowing. Useless without it with the heavy power angle plow on the front. My son's friend said it's probably the balls in the coupler in the shaft going to the front axle. I hope he's right. Don't need any big bills right about now...

    Bolens pto clutch

Last mowing season my mower stopped working on my Bolens Gt1800 with the 18 horse twin cylinder Kohler. I replaced the pto switch but found that the electromagnetic coil for the pto clutch was cooked. It had been losing speed at the blades before it quit. It would quit, then after sitting for a...

    ALLIS D10-D12 Loader

I have a really nice Allis Chalmers loader for a D10 - D12 for sale if anyone is interested. I just sold the tractor to a collector and he only wanted the tractor. It has no dents, welds, repairs, etc. As nice as you will ever find unrestored. Located in Connecticut.

    Branson 3820i

Going down to buy a new 3820i with loader on Monday. All ready worked out a real good price. Anyone have any suggestions of adjustments to this tractor that I should have the dealer make before delivery. I plan to have him fill the rear tires with rim guard, and add a set of front remotes for a...
