Owning a small tractor is a blessing.

While I was lucky enough to not have the bungee action happen to the hoses on the grapple, it did loosen the U-bolt holding the 3d function outlets on the tractor side. Make sure those are on tight when you go to re-attach or...

    Quick Sand!

I found This guy recently on my recommended page. Funny as all get out and certainly makes me appreciate the ground we have here rather than on the Emerald Isle.

How about Sweet tea vodka? Is she into that? Although, If I bring that, the place we're at better not mind me passed out on the lawn. A couple of glasses of that is all it takes to put me down.

I've spent quite a bit of time in much more unsavory parts of the internet, and by that I mean forums where unless you were breaking the law, it was no holds barred. What it really boiled down to was when there was umbrage it came down to two people having a verbal tennis match while the rest...

What to do with all these boxes?

That I'll have to look into. Rather see them be used than turned into ash.

What to do with all these boxes?

The other day, I took advantage of the rainy weather to haul five bucket loads of cardboard boxes down to the garden to turn into ash. It seems like every other day another cardboard box shows up. My mother claims to be breaking them down to recycle them...however I simply found the broken down...

I ordered mine in December and believe a March-ish date is the ETA for mine. I've also noticed they've had trouble with emails lately. If you log in to their website you should be able to see your order and I assume it would change from "processing" to "shipped".

    Student Loan Debt?

My college experience was far from what's been described in this thread. I was fortunate enough to have my parents cover my cost, of which I am forever grateful. However, I definitely was not living high on the hog. Many a time I scraped by eating plain rice out of a rice cooker in my dorm...

    Dog stories

First dog in my memory is a low slung black and white mutt we called Zeke that was part beagle part everything else. She had many misadventures in a long, well lived life. When my parents were first married, Dad bought an old beater Ford F-150 that was mud brown. After purchasing Zeke, she...

Who is excited for snow season? Not us! We're depressed due to lack of snow.

Woke up this morning to 3-5 inches of light fluffy stuff covering the land, currently 25f. Put my "Gonna be late" email out to work and set to plowing, 30 seconds of glow plugs and tractor fired right up. I'm certainly getting better with the blade, much more grass and driveway stayed where...

I'll explain why I chose to spend more and wait for an EA grapple: Shortly before I was born, my father purchased a compact tractor and several implements when they moved onto the property they currently reside on. I'm now 31 years old, cut my teeth on that little tractor and the implements...

There were a few jarring experiences. This tractor has a lot more down pressure than the one I'm used to. Found that there's a "float" type range on the three point hitch. I know it's not good for it, but learning experiences rarely come free.

Who is excited for snow season? Not us! We're depressed due to lack of snow.

I would like to apologize. Despite me putting the blade on, it still snowed. The nerve. First time out with this tractor, I'm impressed. Much more grunt in the push. Surprised there's still any driveway/grass beside the driveway left. Still getting used to the three point hitch lift controls...

Don't worry. I'm leaving work early today to put the blade on. Once I do that, it will do nothing but rain. I guarantee it.

Forecast is calling for "Plowable snow" this weekend. I've learned not to get my hopes up, but...I can always hope right?

Non CDL F250 towing 12K trailer across state lines ?

Underrated post. Smile, nod, say "have a nice day." Let the attorney be the bad guy. Of course, I'm fortunate to have three of them as immediate family.

Tractors and wood! Show your pics

A buddy of mine reached out on Thursday, asking if the splitter and I were free for a whole day of work this past Saturday. An old boss of his had asked for help getting some wood put up for the winter. I rarely have plans, and the Rugged made needed a proper workout since I replaced the main...

Do you guys deal with Mile-a-Minute weed? (Not Kudzu, sorry southerners) That stuff got several mature wild cherry trees before we finally managed to mow enough of it back regularly enough.
