How many of these are out in the wild and some general questions.

Contact Summit Tractors about the cabbed TX25 and the forthcoming ~35HP model. And your electrical issue. They’re great to work with.

    40 hour review—long read

Well written, very thorough early review, Andrew. Your experience with the tractor is similar to mine; true value and performance that has met or exceeded all of my expectations. Your customer service experience is also perfectly consistent with mine. Summit Tractors is a group of people who...

Engine oil filter removal - Summit TX25, Solis H24, Solis H24+

“ Spurtar 2 3/8" to 3 1/8" (60mm to 80mm)” Thanks for that tool reference. I’ll grab one. I think I’ve posted about this before, but I suggest using a (utility) blade of some sort to cut as much of the paint seal as possible. It makes all the difference when turning the filters for the first time.

What tire pressure are you running on your TX25

The Summit manual recommends the following tire pressure settings: FRONT 20-22psi REAR 14-16psi My TX25 arrived with ~30psi in the rear. I’ve been running ~25. What tire pressure are you maintaining?

How many of these are out in the wild and some general questions.

It’s great that your JD has been dead nuts reliable, but the issues I’ve experienced are trivial in relative terms. The point is, Summit’s backed up their product 100pc with no pushback, no arguments. Just excellent customer service.

How many of these are out in the wild and some general questions.

See my previous posts. I’ve shared some details on most if not all of the issues in periodic updates. Nothing serious and Summit addressed all of my inquiries promptly. Importantly, I don’t have to push Summit in any way. I relay the issue, they might ask for a photo or more info, they get me...

How many of these are out in the wild and some general questions.

Respectfully, I dislike posts like this. Summit chose a great platform to build its brand on and the company cares about their product and its customers. I know this because I own a TX25. If you dig into the TX25, you’ll see it’s a rebranded tractor made by one of the largest tractor...

Just took delivery of my TX25. I am also a Kubota BX80 owner so I will be comparing these.

My TX25 has >260 hours (purchased 9/2023) and thought I’d chime in. There were a few minor issues with the tractor on delivery and a few since that time. Importantly, I’ve always found Summit very easy to work with and the company is eager to resolve all issues with the appropriate sense of...

    Reccomended Hydraulic Fluid

I don’t recall if I found an answer to this question when my TX25 was ready for its first service, but I went with Mobil Delvac Tractor Hydraulic Fluid.

Just took delivery of my TX25. I am also a Kubota BX80 owner so I will be comparing these.

Welcome to the TX25 family! My TX25 is one state over. Summit’s paint code is 403218 and it’s called Lotus Green. I got that info from Summit directly. I assume you’re considering Summit’s grapple. If so, you’re going to love it. I’ve mentioned elsewhere that, in combination with the weight of...

    Uneven loader arms

I’m not sure if this is a fix related to your situation, but when my Summit’s loader arms appear misaligned I raise the loader all the way up to its maximum position. When I lower it to the ground the arms, and whatever I have attached, return to a more aligned position.

    Strange noise

Call Summit. It’s a known issue if I’m reading your post correctly. There’s a metal guard or shield over the u-joint that spins directly below your feet underneath the footwell. Under certain circumstances the shield can come in contact with the u-joint and it makes an awful racket. Like...

    EGO Chainsaw preliminary review

I’ve got about a year of use on an 18” Echo DCS-5000 and I really like it. Like others have said, sharp chains don’t care whether they’re gas or electric powered.

    3rd Party Oil Filter

I’m due for an oil change and I’m wondering if any TX25 owners are using an oil filter from a 3rd party and which one you’re using. Summit’s PN 803007059A 1356 OIL FILTER international tractor

    160 Hour Check-in

Inspired by the recent and obviously sincere “just asking questions” posts about Summit Tractors as an ongoing concern, I’m checking in to say I’ve got about 160 hours on the TX25 and all is well. I find a use for the tractor nearly every day and the TX25 continues to exceed expectations. Since...

Need a grapple for my tractor... help me spend some money. :)

I’ve got the Summit Tractors 54 inch SSQA grapple, made by Top Dog. It‘s been excellent. Summit’s also coming out with larger grapples soon. Mentioning it because it might be a grapple you can see in person before you buy it. Summit’s site has a list of big box dealers.

Very nice start to life with a TX25. Piney Grove barely scratched the surface of what the grapple is capable of. Future videos will likely show how much work it will pull from the excavator they’ve relied on.

Hi, MAX-24-Dean. Thanks for your question We haven’t had much snow, so I don’t have any feedback yet. One suggestion, if you order from Good Works Tractors with UHMW consider ordering it assembled. When factoring in the cost of the hardware, which isn’t included, and the time it takes to...

74 hours on the meter and still fantastic. No new issues. Based on my experience, the 50 hour service will go a lot faster if you have 24mm and 22mm sockets on hand. Also use a box cutter or Xacto knife to cut through the paint around hardware and filters where they seal against their...

Ultimately agree. I mentioned fabricating a welded-on brace that effectively widens/reinforces the existing 3-point attach points. The wider pins obviously have a huge drawback if used on the QH as you pointed out. But they do have one benefit: quickly moving the implements around for...

The “extra long” draw/lift pins arrived. They’re ~6.5 inches overall. They have two nuts not one, of course, which was key in this case. Both the Summit LRX60 and RBX60 with these wider pins only overlap the SpeeCo QH by ~0.25 inch with the top link centered (see photos). That’s not enough...

Hi, @Topzide. Great suggestion. I was unable to find a long enough draw/lift pin locally. I did find a discontinued adjustable SpeeCo “extra long” pin, S07021900, at O’Reilly with a claimed 6.25 inches overall length. The problem is, the same part number on SpeeCo’s site states that it’s 5.00...

A quick followup relating on two of the Summit implements I ordered with my TX25. The Summit Landscape Rake and the Summit Rear Blade are “limited cat. 1“ not CAT 1. This means those implements do not share the same 3 point dimensions as CAT 1 (they’re effectively CAT 0 with CAT 1 lift arm...
