Parts came in yesterday, put everything back together and installed. I now have power steering again, time to mow.

Don't know how I missed it but the broken part I was having trouble identifying was a spring washer, should be good to go now.

Update: after looking at all the parts on the work bench and assembling them I believe whoever repaired it last time used some parts from another tractor as it appears to be a shim. I found one the same size at the hardware store so when the other parts arrive, I will put everything back...

Well I guess this adapter plate is different than the one I replaced so when I get a chance I will fit a loop and see what happens. I will post the results when it's installed. Thanks for all the help.

The valve stays on the tractor. I never had this problem with the old valve that's the reason for my confusion.

There is no valve in the plate and I have removed the fel many times before while mowing and dragging my driveway and the 3 point always worked fine. Thank's for the response. (HV4902 valve)

I just installed a replacement hydraulic adapter plate for my fel and my 3 point stopped working. My loader is off the tractor, I put the blocking plate back on to use the 3 point while waiting for the new plate. I removed the new adapter plate and reinstalled the blocking plate and the 3 point...

Final update. Put everything back together today and my 3 point and fel are working like new. Thank you very much TractorTech for all the help.

Quick update, I could not wait for better weather as it's going to be nasty for several more days so I pulled the top lid again and removed the check valve. I think it was a big part of my problem as it was hard to get it out and was gummed up and the plunger was slightly pitted cleaned...

Ok I just downloaded the manual for this and should have done it to start with but anyway the only thing I didn't do was check the check valve so as soon as the weather gets a little better I will be pulling the top lid again and see if that is the problem. wish me luck or call me a ding dong we...

If you are speaking of the old prv Im not sure as I have done so much but I think so

After pump rebuild I had 2700psi at the pump, replaced the prv after no lift

I did forget to mention that I replaced the internal O ring on the suction tube elbow and the seals on the crossbar while I had it out.

First thanks for any response to my issue I have a 1970 Ford 3000 with an FEL, had it for 8 years now and loved it until now. Went to lift a load one day with the loader and it would not lift and the pump got very load also no 3 point. I rebuilt the pump and had 2700psi but still no lift action...
