Thanks all. Guess I better fix it before I make things worse.

The front axle is leaking fluid and the front wheel drive stopped working. If I continue to use tractor in 2 wheel drive will it do more damage to the front axle. Wondering if I could or should remove front drive shaft. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Len

Found the problem ,4 wheel drive not working.I was hoping it might be linkage but couldn't be that lucky. Any advice on next steps appreciated.Thanks Len.

Oldnslo , I think your on the right track,it seems to be randomly binding up. I'll have to get into the front axle and see what's causing it. Thanks.

I'm afraid it's much more then a ballast or traction problem. Is as though the front wheels are locking up and the rear wheels are turning.

Kioti ck25. It happens going forward too if I'm in a rut.When it first happened I was in the driveway very slight slope with no load on front end.

Today I was about to backup on a slight slope and the rear wheels started to spin. I thought the front wheels might be locked up. I jacked the front end and the wheels spin freely. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Thanks I'm ordering a new relay so I'll have it on hand.

Problem solved. I traced the wire back to the start relay where I found points stuck. I cleaned it up and now works as it should. Thanks to all for your input. Len

Your right, there is always power to the soinoid. Could it be a faulty ignition switch? I will check the relay today .Thanks a lot. Len

It only has 1 wire

I just installed a new shutoff solenoid on my kioti ck25. When I make the connection I goes to shutoff position. When connected the tractor won't start him will start when disconnected. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks , Len

I just had the injector pump serviced on my ck25. When I reinstalled it and started it up it went to fill throttle. (Run away). Luckily I was able to block air intake fast enough to shut it down before it blew up. I think I reinstalled the pump with the control rack lever in the wrong position...

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I took injectors apart and I'm not sure about reassembly. I didn't pay close enough attention when I took them apart. The nozzle body has a race groove and the matching disc that mates to it also has a race on one side and smooth on the other side...

What is the purpose of a pickup sensor. I just noticed a broken wire to pickup sensor on my kioti ck25.

I replaced head gasket about 2 years ago as well.

A little black smoke sometimes.I had the injectors overhauled about 2 years ago, maybe they should be done again?

Moved on to more maintenance this week . I have noticed in the past the tractor losses power and seems to be running on 2cyl. Seems to be happening more lately.A friend suggested valve adjustment. Any thoughts?

Great . That's what I thought. I know my glow plugs are shot ,I have new ones ordered. My 3 cyl kioti sometimes seems to be running on 2 cyl. My buddy suggested valve adjustment. Any thoughts?

This is the leak

Sorry guys it's the tube from hydraulic filter housing to the section of the transmission where the charge pump is located.your right you can't see the charge pump .The schematic says this tube is under charge pressure as oppos to high pressure. It's now 4:55 am and I'm about to pull her outside...

Fingers crossed !!!! I think i found the problem. I noticed a very small leak,more of a weep . The connection where the tube from charge pump joins the filter housing. I replaced the O ring and it stopped . Ran the tractor in forward and reverse no problem.( Up on blocks) seemed smooth and no...

Yes it has one a clutch pedal.

The leak in the remote tube was at the but not the coupler. I tightened it and stopped that leak. The main hydraulic filter seems to be leaking very slightly. I cleaned it completely and checked it after a couple hours and it was wet.

Today I removed wheels,fenders,floor boards etc to be able to get a better look. I found the pressure test ports and relief valves. Ordered a hydraulic pressure tester from amazon.I also found a couple of things I wasn't aware of. A small leak in the remote hydraulics but only when they are...

The tractor will move forward and reversefor a short distance and then it is like it is in neutral. Rocking foot pedal back and forth a couple times and it will move again.there is a noise like a stomach growling and then it starts to move.

It does have a clutch pedal that you have to depress to start the engine. If you were to push it in while moving the tractor would roll as if In neutral.you use it also to change from low to high range.

I did change hose and clamp. I'm waiting to hear from a diesel mechanic . Hoping he will be able to come take a look. The nearest dealer with a real mechanic is 2 hrs away. That will be the next move if I can't get someone to come here to look at it.

My tractor is a 2006 ck 25 kioti

I'm posting some schematics . I have pages of diagrams on all the transmission components.

I do know a guy that works for CAT. I wasn't sure if a diesel mechanic would be familiar with hydrostatic transmission.I will have to give him a call.I'll let you know how I make out. Thanks Len

The filter is from the dealer. Looking back now I realize the problem started before the fluid change. When this first occurred I checked the fluid level and it was a little bit low so I decided I would just do a complete fluid change.

Going as slow as possible

Looks like there might be a leak in this hose.I'll replace and get new clamps before I start the tractor . I'm now draining all fluid and will put it back in slow.

I tried forcing air in thru filler tube. Raised rear wheels and ran in forward and reverse. I then tried it on the ground and it will travel as it should for a short distance then stop. If I am on a down hill slope it rolls along as if I'm in neutral. Pushing pedal back and forth it will engage...

The input shaft only turns when foot pedal is pushed, forward or reverse.

Input turns when forward or reverse is applied at foot pedal otherwise not moving. Now what?

I'm still working on this problem ,just had to leave it for a couple days. I appreciate all the help! Looking at the hst trouble shooting one of the first things that day to check is the input shaft. Should it be turning when tractor is at idle and in gear? Thanks again the shaft isn't turning

I just changed fluid and filled to manufacturer specks.I'll try oldnslo's suggestion of forcing air into resivoir to see if that will prime the pump.Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

Do you mean to blow air into the filler tube?

Every thing else seems to be working fine . It just doesn't seem to fully go in to hear and there is a whining noise.

I just finished completely draining and replacing hydraulic fluid and filters on my ck 25 kioti. Now it is not engaging . Barely moves and a whining sound.Looking for any idea's.
