    GX 255 drive belt

I tackled the job today. It’s not bad and nobody should be afraid to tackle it. I didn’t have any directions other than what was discussed here. I just took my time and kept the workspace organized. 😎

    GX 255 drive belt

Correct. Thus is the driveline not the deck primary or secondary. I’ll get after it and report back! Thank you!

    GX 255 drive belt

Thanks for the reply! Agree this will be a learning experience! When I say operator station I’m referring to the fender deck. I found a YouTube where a guy takes that off - but I also found one where a different DIY guy hangs the tractor by the front so he worked on it vertically. Front end...

    GX 255 drive belt

I bought a Gx255 last year for my son (14) to begin mowing in the neighborhood. It’s been a solid rig, but the drivetrain belt just went. We towed it home with my 4052R and looked to see what may have been causing the issue. As I was looking under it I yanked out a 1/2 stick that was jammed up...

    Plowing County Road??

Stay-Pack/Sure-Pack is essentially crushed stone with a powder left in from crushing. It's to allow it to pack like concrete/asphalt overtime.

    Plowing County Road??

Hello all! I am not plowing a country road, but my driveway is pretty much a country road. Whether I am doing the driveway or down and around the barn it's a rock base, gravel, and then stay-pack. One question I have regarding the frontier front blade is - how to be most careful on unfrozen...

    Snow Blade Markers Installed

I gotcha! I was planning on using the loader float and using the forward/aft to have it sit flat. I am unaware of any other floats on the system - but it's a new item that's yet to be played with. It does have two feet/skids under the plow that can be adjusted with washers. It's currently...

I do! I will be pushing with the 4052R. Should be just the ticket!

    Snow Blade Markers Installed

Added some blade markers last night. Went to Deere, but they pushed me to aftermarket options. This is an Amazon set-up with some L brackets from Runnings. Had all the hardware kicking around the garage.

Time to sell my JD 2320, Considering a 3039R or 4052R

Thank you for the information. That’s really helpful. I’ve been so busy I have not had a chance to even use it! Now being deer season, I probably will not do too much until winter. We have a bunch of work to do on the new arena. I’m excited to get that going, but I need to have a mini to put...

Time to sell my JD 2320, Considering a 3039R or 4052R

Thank you for the heads-up. I didn't see that in the manual yet. The dealer didn't mention it either. I tend to do a warm-up all the time, but the cool down I have not been used to. Good post - thank you.

Time to sell my JD 2320, Considering a 3039R or 4052R

...and I feel it! It's going to take a moment or two until I feel it's part of my body. Right now, I feel like I am running some sort of forestry equipment. lol I do like that the hydrostatic is the same set-up. I also like that the engine RPM changes with pedal pressure. That was not...

Time to sell my JD 2320, Considering a 3039R or 4052R

The self-leveling option is very nice! I do have a set of forks I use often (they seem to fit the bill on so many jobs) and I am sure the self-leveling option would make loading easier. She does have the block heater too. I will be using a timer, and/or a WiFi switch to control pre-heat. I...

Time to sell my JD 2320, Considering a 3039R or 4052R

I’m very happy with the sweet set-up. I also was upgraded to the HD bucket. I want to bolt on a cutting blade for some additional protection and longevity. I’ll likely grab some plow markers and a flap too. I added the Bluetooth radio and kicker speakers last night. Didn’t expect speakers to...

Time to sell my JD 2320, Considering a 3039R or 4052R

This will be the 4052R - but I read people have had to purchase a VW harness adaptor with googling other options. My tractor did not come with a radio at all, so I need to drop the headliner and add the speakers, as well.

Time to sell my JD 2320, Considering a 3039R or 4052R

Looks like I will be receiving the tractor Friday. Had to wait for some parts and installation. I ended up buying a Bluetooth radio and speakers, so I will add that next week. Does anyone know if the harness is already above the headliner?

Time to sell my JD 2320, Considering a 3039R or 4052R

I believe that step is standard. I build a 4052R, and went back and forth for about a month with the dealer. When it came time to order they could not find anything - told me it would be here in February. I thought about walking to the Kubota dealer (which is fine too), but they ended up...

Time to sell my JD 2320, Considering a 3039R or 4052R

I completely agree with you on the tractor for mowing. I worry about compaction and overall weight on the leach field and septic tank. I have 2+/- lawn, but 11 acres of woods/pasture. Tried to have the cake and eat it too - but nope. It looks like a zero turn in my future for sure. Good...

She's at the dealer, and just had the tires loaded. Waiting on the loader, snow blade, lights, mirrors, etc. I am pretty excited - and a little nervous. This thing is so much larger than my old 2320 which, I just delivered to it's new home. I am going to miss that old 2320 - we got a TON done!

Time to sell my JD 2320, Considering a 3039R or 4052R

Thanks everyone. I’ll likely move ahead with the 4052R. I have a pretty good deal negotiated, and I asked they toss in power beyond with the 4th and 5th function on top of the 3rd function and the 7’ snow blade and loader with bucket. They are loading the tires, so it will be a bit heavy, but...

Hello all, It's been a LONG time since I posted on it. I am selling my 2011 2320 (which I think I have sold already for $15,750) which includes a 54D mower deck and a 200CX loader with a 4' Bucket. It has 376 hours, and I have taken really good care of it. I started looking at the 2022...

    2011 2320 (sell?)

I have a 2320 I bought new and I love it. I need a back hoe, though. Is it better to sell my tractor abs go all new or buy a 270A and slap it on. I have about 180 hours on my tractor now. I'll be doing some site work and fence installation soon. I also heard the post hold diggers for the 2320 do...

    2320. Slow hydro leak.

This leak is making me feel like I am losing my mind! I replaced the inner o-rings (29 and 33), and now I took it back apart to replace the lower o-rings (5 in a few spots around 32). Now I know why some people don't chase these type of leaks. Anyone have the service manual to tell me what...

    2320. Slow hydro leak.

I noticed a small wet spot under the tractor yesterday (under right rear tire). After cleaning the area with a rag where the rear hydro connections are, it seems to be coming from the area in the photos - maybe a gasket failure?I want to tighten the bolts in the area (I doubt they are loose)...

    Chain gang.

I didnt use chains last year to plow, but I feel I should have. Whats a good chain to use on my jd 2320 without leaving me poor and unloved from the wife? I have r4 tires unloaded. However, I plow with a bucket and added weight from the ballast box. Thanks all! Josh

    Aux lamps 2320

I am confused. I am adding some fog lamps as aux lamps on the back of my 2320. I used them on my car and they were fine. So they work when I use the factory 2320 wires and factory 2320 switch when I hold them in my hand. But when I mount them to the metal bracket to the back of the tractor...

I am headed over to a dealer to pick-up my new 2320 with a 54" driver over deck and a 200cx loader. I am very excited! I drove it with no attachments, so this will be a treat. A step up from my old 10hp Murray lawn tractor that finally blew-up. Haha! Now with a new home with some acres (5) I...

    About to pull the trigger....B2360

(should read above 2320) Sorry! I cannot edit it! I first was looking at the BX series, but the B series feels a bit more comfortable. I am not huge guy (6' 188lbs) and I caught my pants on the leverage three times getting off and on the BX! AAA! What a weggie. Maybe I need to do some...

    JD 2320 vs B2320

I was sold on green and yellow paint, but everyone I speak with tells me I should get something orange - mainly a Kubota that is orange. See - the people that are telling me this seem to know more about tractors than I do, and make me second guess my thinking. I assume I cannot go wrong with...

    Ok - 2320 time!

I have decided to move from the 2305 I was shopping for, and land on the 2320. The dealer told me the 2320 would be much more stable in the woods. As I plan to clear many trails (with hills) this speaks volumes to me. Going with CX200, 6' York w/casters, and a rear 60" finish mower, per...
