This was one of the Company's I worked for as a carmen. Flying Tigers was owned by some pilots who flew in China during WWII. After the war they operated transportation company's and among them was RR ones.

What I did as a carmen. Mostly what we worked on was aggregate and grain hoppers and coal gondolas. Cold in the winter and hot as &^$ in the winter. Got burned lots.

When I worked in a small town as a carmen, I resided about a 1/3 of a mile and tad higher from a double main line, the screech of wheels and rumble of those power-heads is etched in my memory. Plus that smell of coal dust and diesel exhaust. 🥰
