john deere 40

I'm seeking a head for a John Deere 40. Mine was stolen right out of the yard while working on the tractor. If anyone knows of a head in good condition for a reasonable price please let me know. Thanks.

I have JD 40 manure spreader and the drive spline near the gear box is slipping. What is the solution try to find anew shaft or drill and bolt the old one?

I have a John Deere 40 with a frozen engine I've tried all the penetrating oils and diesel no luck.i want to pull the head but the rocker arm ***. Won't come off the front is loose but the back seems to be stuck it's the one with the oiler any ideas?

I have a 40 that is in decent shape (runs good). It would be a good start for a restoration project if anyone is interested. Asking $2,500. Comes w/ a 3 pt snow plow on back. Can send picts if you email me. In Washington state.
