When I got my 2310, there was a one time fee (~ $250?) charged by Agco to handling the financing paperwork. If I had paid cash or financed elsewhere the fee would not have been applied, but I ultimately would have paid more. I got 0/60 and smile every time I even look at my little tractor.

Good luck - I'm sure you're going to like the 2610!

Going to talk to the dealer tonight after work if I get done in time. Besides the ~$250+ processing fee, did they require any other type of fees such as mandatory insurance? I've read that Kubota makes you get flood insurance if you use their financing.

They required insurance, but don't require you get it from them. I think you just have to provide proof that you have coverage and that they are named as the lienholder.

However, I checked with our homeowner's insurance agent (State Farm), and found that the Agco policy was a better one at a lot less money. Granted, it is only in effect as long as there is a loan - so a few years from now when it's paid off, I'll have to decide if I want to buy another policy or not.

I did have some questions about the policy itself and found the customer service folks at Agco to be very friendly and helpful.

Good luck!

Thanks, the dealer pretty much said the same thing about homeowners insurance covering it last night. My wife and I are going to think about this "big ticket" purchase for a few days (especially with the economy doing as poorly as it is), but all indications are we are going to be purchasing a 2410 TLB w/ a 60" MMM within the next few weeks. I was considering the 2610 but after talking to the dealer about what I need to do with it, he actually thought that the 2410 would work just as well for me as the 2610.

I have always been very pleased with my 2310, which is essentially the same thing as the 2410 in terms of specs and features. For my purposes, it is the ideal size - plenty of power for the things I need to do and the perfect size for navigating around the trees.

I don't have an MMM because my lawn is fairly small, and very steep - so I do that with an old push mower. Then I get on the tractor for cleaning the woods, chipping - and in a couple months, snow blowing :D:D

It is great mental health, especially these days....

Good luck with your deliberation - and please let us know if you get it (and as you probably now, pics are not only welcomed, they are solicited and very much enjoyed).

As for snow removal, I have an ATV w/ a plow that makes quick work of the snow.

With some of the snow we have had the ATV/Blade would not work too well at all. Snowblower in this case. I really hope our winter this year is not as bad a last. 2 years ago, an ATV would have worked great, but not last. Old Man winter must have been mad at us, hope he is over it!! :)
