I don't blame you for not wanting to go back. However, the site is a great resource. When I get hit by the kiddies, I tell them that I posted a legitimate question, and if they don't have a legitimate answer, they have no need to post their opinion. They'll get mouthy, I report them, they get popped by the admin.

Soundguy - Go back to FTE and go into the "tech" area at the top of the page. There is tons of info in there, alot of good reading without all of the BS comments. Something I do is I change the remote filter each time I change the engine oil on both of my 'o4s. They really seem to do their job and a clean filter never hurts. One thing I have found is that trying to unscrew the canister with a wrench is tough, a quick trigger with an air gun spins them right off. A service tech at a Ford Dealer showed me this trick.

I just checked and there is a post about the torque shift with some trouble shooting in the tech folder.

I kinda like that filter.. havn't had any trouble changing it.. I use a napa gold model ( 3712.. or something like that.. )
