1/2 Ton PU Best Deals?

That was down in Miami FL, here is the story. I wish I could part with my trusty 03 Ram 1500 to purchase a brand new Ram 2500.

Get a 3500 SRW. There is only a few hundred dollars difference and you get heavier axles, suspension, brakes, ect. Trust me, I had 2 3/4 tons and 3 1 tons and the money difference is not that much. I kicked myself everyday for buying the 3/4 after I figured it out.

Just saw an advertisement on TV for a Dodge ram 1500 for $16000.

Thanks, they bought a new 2008 Ford F150 STX, 4.6L V8, for about $16,500, about $7K off MSRP. This is about the same price they are selling used at car-max with 20K miles.

That sounds like a good deal. A guy my neighbor works with just traded his trusty 93 1/2 ton 4x4 GM regular cab with a 305 for a new extended cab Ford 4.6 4x4 and paid less than he did in 93 for the GM. Some good deals out now on new trucks.

Me and my brother-n-law spent the day looking for him a good used 3 series BMW and a good 99 or newer F-150. He is wanting both by spring. What we saw with the trucks is you can just about get a new one for the same prices as say a 2004.
