3-Point Hitch 1/4 inching valve not a 1/4 inching valve?

my b7800 is the worst. I often start out doing a grading job since the loader is great; only to end up putting the 7800 up and getting out the old b2150 to finish the job. I ve tried everything ive read on here. grinding the stops, adjusting and more adjusting. It will either throw the box blade so high you think its going to land in front of the tractor or only move a mm or two as it goes up.

I may be the exception, but I like the 1/4” valve. I guess it’s a matter of learning how to best use it.

I've learned how to use it on my JD2210. I can effectively use a BB with it. But it doesn't compare to the effectiveness of Position Control.

Have you ever owned a tractor with position control?

Ive used tractors with position control and it is very nice, but its not the end all be all.

This all depends on the operator's expectations. Both systems will work with toleration from the operator. :)

All a matter of opinion; I own tractors with both and absolutely hate anything other than position control. I am somewhat skeptical of any assertion that a quarter inching is as easy as a position control.

I guess I should clarify. In the desert I have no need for a bush hog or plow. My box blade is on the tractor 95% of the time. With my T&T and 1/4" valve I can split 2 cigarette papers laid on the ground. Other implements probably would not be as friendly.
