yep, and while I don't dabble in new tractors alot.. I do dabble quite a bit in old ones.
Alot of stuff you have to eye up yerself. IE.. buyer beware. and some stuff you take on faith.. with a grain of salt, figuring if it is bad, you just plan for it.
when i buy an old rustbucket.. I only pay what i know I can get out of it, or with what i need to fix it in mind. I make allowances for the usual suspects like steering rebuilds nad leaks.. past that.. it's time to beat on it with the wrenches...
