Maybe one of these????

That’s a newer version of mine but essentially yes, that’s what I have. It’s an amazing machine. It will eat through 20 inches, no problem. The problem is that I have a large turn around driveway that goes up a hill, swings around the front of the house and then goes back down the hill. Wrestling that thing around is brutal on a back that has been operated on twice.

We're on our 2nd tracked 8hp Hondu blower what's the model I can't recall. The 1st one we got around 1998 and was pretty worn out by 2018 and replaced it with a new version. They had made some nice updates on them and didn't fix some things I thought they could have.

I have a big wheeled snow blower. Was a bit much on 600 feet of private road and a few hundred of driveway.
Tractor is much nicer! Enjoy.

The rule is to always be driving on cleared ground.

Snowblowing storm multiple times, in shallower snow, is a lot more “forgiving”, especially if you’re learning, when you break this rule.
This usually happens when:
Blowing deep snow too fast and snow comes over top of blower into wheel path.
Taking “first pass” and then having to back up (or turn around). Rarely can you back up perfectly in the cleared path that is exact width of blower, then you start knocking snow into cleared path with either rear tire or side of blower....then your scr*wed.

One solution on big storms is to only take first pass into snow 1-2-3-4 lengths of snowblower (depending on likelihood of getting stuck), then back up and widen the short path you just made, then repeat, never “boxing” yourself in a narrow snow alley.
Another solution is instead of backing up a long path, back up one length, go forward “fanning” left and right until you’ve cleared a spot to turn around.

Do you have chains? Ballast weight?

HUMPH - That last "snow storm" where you got 1" - grsthegreat - I got about 1/4". Looked like somebody whitewashed the property - nothing more.

Been out here 39+ years. One year we had 40" on the ground before I felt like going out and blowing anything. I had my Ford 1700 4WD and a 3-point blower. It worked just great. Had to go slow or I would overcome the output of the blower. It's about the most fun you can ever have on a tractor. The snow was stiff but not frozen. The auger cut cleanly into the snow and the blower threw it a country mile. After the mile long driveway, mailbox area and yard - I cut single pass paths almost everywhere.

That was back in '93. Since that time our snow has been hit and miss almost every year. We received a total of 70" the winter of '93. I'm sure I will never live to see that again.
