HUMPH - That last "snow storm" where you got 1" - grsthegreat - I got about 1/4". Looked like somebody whitewashed the property - nothing more.

Been out here 39+ years. One year we had 40" on the ground before I felt like going out and blowing anything. I had my Ford 1700 4WD and a 3-point blower. It worked just great. Had to go slow or I would overcome the output of the blower. It's about the most fun you can ever have on a tractor. The snow was stiff but not frozen. The auger cut cleanly into the snow and the blower threw it a country mile. After the mile long driveway, mailbox area and yard - I cut single pass paths almost everywhere.

That was back in '93. Since that time our snow has been hit and miss almost every year. We received a total of 70" the winter of '93. I'm sure I will never live to see that again.

we used to get about 100-120" per year snowfall. have not seen that for a few years.

This is the first Winter I have seen snow in 25 years!

If you're getting that much snow, and some wind, I would suggest to run to a big box store and get some orange 3' marker rods to put around the perimeter of your drive. The last think you want to do is put the blower into the yard, and start blowing dirt and grass. Kind of hard on the blower. Or worse yet, if you have a big rock or 2 at the edges of sharp turns.

Sounds like the Minnesota forecasters. They've missed on the last 4 this year. They strike fear into the state on the pending storms only to wake up to an inch or two.

Our 10-12” turned into 1” last storm
