After having run everything from a 5' 3-point, 6' 3-point, 7' 3-point, 8' 3-point, 10' 3-point, 10' pull type, and 15' pull type batwing, I can say there is nothing better than the 15' batwing for covering big acres in little time. Of coarse this new BushHog 2212 should be a sweet machine also. If you keep it from getting 3' or 4' high you can pull a 15' cutter with the M6800 no problem. I have mowed a lot of ground with my M7040 and 15' cutters all ready, and when the grass is only 1' to 2' tall I can barely tell the cutter is back there. I am lucky as I have a good friend who is a dealer and he loans me a 15' cutter whenever I need one, but someday soon I hope to purchase one. I am either going to get a light duty Land Pride 15' or a Bush Hog 2515 which is a light duty model or maybe the new Bush Hog 2212 in a few years when the used one's start hitting the market. Until then I will keep borrowing.
