1025r Price check

Looking at a 1025r with TLB and MMM and getting quotes of about $22k. Does this seem like a decent deal? I am likely going to want to add a brush hog and grapple. This would be for mowing (not a ton of area, just a long way to travel), moving a lot of yard debris around, helping with clearing woods (moving logs etc), some gardening, working on drainage around the house (maybe install some french drains), and regrading some land. Obviously a bigger machine would be nice, but I think I would mostly be chipping away at projects over time and would rather own a variety of attachments. For the same ballpark price I could get a TYM 394 with AC/heated cab but only a loader and I am not sure it would be as nimble through the woods. And I do think I would use the backhoe a decent amount even if it is small.

Also, thoughts on tires for my use? I am assuming turf tires would be best but do r4 add any durability for getting through the woods or just grip? Thanks!

I got the same setup & that is about what I paid a month ago. Mine was a little over 19% off of MSRP.
I would not recommend turf tires. They do not give much grip. They also cannot carry the same weight as R4s do. R4s are a heavyer duty tire.

I started out with the new Versa Turf radial tires. They were great for mowing. They gave a very good soft ride. My mind changed after using them with the back hoe & loader installed. The Versa Turfs were just to soft for me. The tractor rocked front to back & side to side because of the soft tires. I put R4s on & like the ride much better with the big equipment on.

I repaired a drain line this week end & was very pleased with how the backhoe worked out. I have used larger backhoes before, but not one this size. I was not disappointed.

That seems like a very reasonable price. I went to price one here in Central Ca. and the salesman said it would cost me 17+K for the tractor and about $9K more for the backhoe. Just crazy ridiculous. He didn稚 know much about the tractor either. So I bought a 2025R TLB out of state for way less.
