$120/gallon for SUD2

I had bought Deere Hy-Gard J20C in 2019 for a mere $19 for 2 gallons. Had a leaking hose, more than half dumped out. Got to Farm & Fleet and the price was $39 for the 2 gallons.

I priced around the area and the Farm & Fleet was showing the best price. Still shaking my head on this.

That sounds like the standard COVID-19 price increase was added, double the price of everything.

Just got a 5 gallon pail of Premium UDT here in Canada yesterday. Was $153 Canadian dollars.
Was $120 two years ago and I used to pay $105 for it back in 2013/14

I just picked up last Saturday a few 5 gallon pails of Super UDT2 at my local Kubota Dealer (M&R Power Equipment, Butler Pa) for $125 a pail.

Priced motor oil lately?

I bought Valvoline super extreme synthetic diesel oil for $30/ gallon at NAPA last month. About $5 more than last year.

Not bad considering what the rate of inflation is at.

I switched from Rotella T6 because of limited T6 availability and high cost. Turns out the Valvoline is recommended by Cummins, so that’s good enough for me.

I don't like switching brands and I have about 1/3 of a drum of T6 anyway.

T6 is good stuff, but so is the Valvoline. T6 is hard to find anymore and when I find it, it’s expensive and not the viscosity I’m looking for.
