1210: What do you think?

I had a 1210 for years. Used it to mow the yard (w/ 60" MMM) and bush hog a 3 acre pasture (w/ 4' bush hog). Great little machine. It's amazing what 16 HP can do. I sold mine 2 years ago (just tractor and MMM) for around $4000 and it was in pristine condition. If the size works for you, I would not offer anything to discourage you.

How many crankshafts for a 1200 do you want? They are still available.

Found them in the parts book numbers... unable to get one shipped. Get me the number of your dealer asap. thanks

Whitetiger; I realize you may be busy but .......................... If you can't locate the hard piece ( we all found numbers ) soon I may have to use the remains for a boat anchor as the water will soften and fishing season opens. Make sure you can get 2, one for stock.

Forget the mid mount mower if the tractor doesn稚 have a center PTO.
I have a 1120, 13HP, great machine with extra hydraulics on the 3 point hitch. Underpowered, even for a 4 brush hog.

I had a 1210 from 1985 until 1994 and I found this to be a nice tractor! One thing that I would mention is the mid mount mower used a cable lift mechanism on my tractor. The cables tended to be a problem as both the OE and the aftermarket parts wore out quickly. The front end of the cable attached to a fixed point, the cable went from the fixed point thru a series of rollers to the 3 ph and as you lifted the 3ph you would raise the deck. Take a careful look at that. I am not sure if $3500 is in the range.

Another month of intense searches has netted parts numbers but NO PARTS.
I thought you said they were easy to come by ? Sign me... still looook'n !

They list a cam shaft. Unable to locate a crank shaft in the inventory. Will have them look for one. thanks jr

I purchased my 1210 new in 1987 and now have 480 hours on it. It has worked perfect since day one. I considered getting a loader for it, but mine is not 4WD so I decided to buy a used Kubota L2900 for loader/digging work and keep the 1210 for finish mowing. With HST and 60" deck it is one great mowing machine. I have seen similar 1210's sell in the $4,000. range in my area.
