Sitting here talking to son in law. He is wondering (convinced) if a voltage fluctuation might cause the fuel injector pump to go out of time, and pump too much fuel into the combustion chambers. Similar to the alternator in a car or truck over charging, causing the things to go haywire. If this is possible, could it be that there is a problem with the alternator or voltage regulator?
Just throwing that out there for ya..
BTW...He's not a diesel guy either. But he is pretty good with gasoline engines.
