Greetings all,
My wife was mowing with the 1300D and she had the PTO speed selector on 3. Now I know this is way too fast but we had to find out the hard way. The PTO shaft came completely out of the transmission housing. It damaged the overrun clutch but everything else looks good. I contacted Hoyetractor and got a new overrunclutch and they had me get 2 snaprings for the shaft also. They were suppossed to put a copy of the shaft diagram in the order also but it didn't make it in there.
Does anyone have a digram showing the order the shaft parts go in???Also what is the easiest way to reinstall it? Do I need to remove the top plate of the transmission housing to access it. I already have the back PTO housing off but there is not much of a hole for a reinstall. The bearings and gears all look ok, but no sign of the original snaprings that supposedly held the PTO shaft in place.
Thanks, Steve
