I bought a 1440V with 400 hrs. and coolant into engine - found head warped 0.004" around center cylinder of E3CD-T and obvious where water went (into #2 cylinder). I remember him bringing it home new 21 years ago, so forgive me if my rapidly advancing age sees that as "just a little while ago". Bottom line is I need engine parts, and that engine is shared by a whole mess of tractors so I would vastly prefer to buy those parts either from Iseki or an Iseki dealer (none I can find in Canada). Everyone I have contacted so far are selling aftermarket parts - and I would greatly prefer to buy OEM - but NOT being scalped by Agco dealer (for whom we have some rude names).

Anyone know how/where I can get Iseki OEM parts for the E3CD-T. Also any idea what Iseki model number crosses over to the 1440V? I can find everything before and after, but nothing for the MF 14xx series.

Visited local agco store and got a few quotes. A set of rings = $750! The one piston I need = discontinued. The gasket "set" I need does not exist, must buy each and every gasket and seal individually = more than a grand. I shouldn't be surprised since everything I have ever seen come out of that building was a total screw job - and so poorly done we call the place "Field Ready" since everthing they deliver is claimed to be just that. So far over last 30 years not a single new, used or repaired machine has run a full day, never mind a full harvest.

I am now officially desparate to find a reliable and affordable source of parts. I see I asked about this in Feb and got back Southern Global and Weavers. Will contact them but does anyone know if these are aftermarket or OEM parts?

I must be the only victim...uh...I meant CUSTOMER with a 1440. Ran through parts list on a spreadsheet and buying gaskets one item each came out to about $1,800.00~!!!

For those who might stumble into this same situation: M-F really doesn't seem to want to keep me or anyone else with a piece of equipment over 10 years of age - and the totally ridiculous prices are strong evidence of same.

Will get quotes from Friday and Southern today (Weaver can't do many of these parts) and let you know how they compare.

1433 1433V 1440 and 1440V engine parts will all interchange. Not positive (check with dealer first) but 1533 and 1540 parts will probably also fit.

The engine is a E3CD-T and is found in several other machines. I am trying with Iseki UK now to just be able to get engine parts by engine model. Due to turbo, not all parts interchange with the normally aspirated versions of E3CD but since some parts (such as the piston I desperately need) are simply not available from Agco/M-F it makes no difference. Friday and Global are 100% Chinese aftermarket so I will exhaust the OEM options before turning to them.

I will look at some 1500 parts to see how well they cross over with 1400 series (since I have all of the required bits on a spreadsheet can do without too much drama).

So far, what I have learned is to ask a lot more questions before assuming that a major ag brand is a reliable backup for things with their name on them.

the only difference I can see between 33 and 40 is the turbo and related hardware.

I had the company I work with in UK reach out to Iseki there - and even they could not cross the 1400 series over to the matching Iseki tractors. I was sent a parts list for Iseki TG1590 that is the equivalent of 1540. Pretty sure the turbo version of its engine is the same basic engine (I can spot some differences in the turbo mounting) but the main hardware will come across. Unfortunately Iseki part numbers are completely unrelated to M-F numbers, so if I go that way I will have to take some on faith. They few prices I have seen are much closer to what the Chinese sources offer.

Just a bit of update on this excruciating saga: I have been crossing over parts from TG series Isekis as well as the corresponding M-F 1540 and most of the bits for other versions of E3CD will work. What is stunning is the price on most of the parts is lower from MF than Iseki - and no shipping. Dealer was not able to cross to Iseki numbers, but I have all of that info, so some light at end of tunnel.

A LOT of part numbers are NLA from Agco, but still can be had from Iseki. By just moving up a year from 14xx to 15xx most of those problems solved. The killer is the rings. The 14xx ring set was $750 but the updated 15xx are $900!

Not willing to go with Chinese parts, so if anyone has a source of Japanese, Euro or US rings I am all ears (OK, eyes).

Just an update: I had fantastic exchanges with parts and service people at Iseki UK. They could not cross part numbers to M-F ones, but they could tell me what later models probably shared parts with mine. Got prices and availability from them, but quite high plus need to ship overseas. MIGHT have had to go to them as many parts for 1440 NLA, but some are available under 1540 - can say after help from Iseki UK. M-F was actually cheaper than Iseki, and workaround got workable part numbers....BUT: it was the $1,100.00 quote for RINGS!!!!!! and another $110 for shipping that just plain peed me off. Sent out for quotes to Friday and TracPartz, no reply from latter and "don't have any of those parts" from Friday. I suspect both just too damn lazy to go through the bother of looking up the list. When I called Southern in MS the nice lady asked up front "what engine is that", and when I told her E3-CD she IMMEDIATELY shot back - we have everything in stock. I got another e-mail back from my quote request telling me what parts were in what kits - so I don't think anyone will be surprised when I tell you where I am going (and their prices far better than M-F).
