I assume these are all features of the DKSE, vs. The CK.

One of the reasons I would go for the DK35SE over the CK35 is that the
former has a much less vulnerable underside. The CKs have very exposed
hyd components, esp the big filter.

What is the price diff betw a DK35SE and a CK35, both set up the same
with HST, one rear rmt, FEL, etc?

I can tell you the price you got on the 3400 is way high, like $3-4,000 too high.

Nothing negative about the DK35se but do yourself a favor and get a price on the DK40se as well. As I recall it was not a lot more in identical configuration and the loader strength is remarkably better with the KL401 over the KL351. The 40se also has bigger tires/axle and is higher off the ground. Engine power is not that different (38 vs 41) but it is still IMHO a lot more tractor.

Wallace, do you think a 6'3" guy will be cramped in the CK 30. I was on one the other day and I was disappointed with how close the seat was to the steering wheel. I am thinking seriously and like the OP have moved to Kioti from the L3400.

I am 6' 1", and I have no issues on my CK30, did you check to see if the seat was all the way back. It is adjustable, as well as the steering wheel.

I'm 6'5", 230 and I was comfortable on a CK20. Even more comfortable on a DK40se though.

I'm 5'5" and I fit comfortably on a tricycle. Still find those full sized 10 speed huffies to be a little tricky though.
