I hooked up an eight hundred pound cement block to the three point hitch this morning and went back out. I got to the top of a small hill at the front of the field where the gate is. I tried to turn around to hook up to my chain drag and as I was doing so the tractor began to slide slightly sideways. The more I treid to get out of the situation the more I slid down the hill untill I was stuck up against the fence and a big tree in front of me. I had to use the neighbors four wheel drive JD to get me out. This tractor has me spooked. I'm not sure anything short of four wheel drive is going to solve my problem. A biger tractor would be nice also. I am 250 lbs and six foot three. I feel like I'm trying to ride a toy.

Sounds like you over-compensated and added so much ballast you lost your steering. That's about 400-500 pounds more than you need.

If you use water/anti-freeze mix to fill you tires instead of calcium chloride, your wheels will not corrode.
