16' Utility trailer gate or ramps which is better?

/ 16' Utility trailer gate or ramps which is better? #41
My 7x16 is 10K tandem axle with brakes on both axles and I use it mostly to haul my Mahindra, but also use to haul mulch (added wood sides and tailgate that are removable) and stone. It has the ramps, which IMO is the best way to go. I unload mulch and stone from the trailer with my tractor and I don't think a gate would be able to handle the weight of the tractor and a full bucket. I used to haul my Scag mower on that trailer to mow in-laws lawn and that was a pain, just too much trailer to get in and out of their driveway, so this year I bought a 6x12 landscape trailer which is just what the doctor ordered, easier and faster with the gates.
