1610D low and wide two more pics

I have my Grandfathers 8n funk6 I conviscatedand and put up. He got it when he retired from the mines and I plan to replace it with a 4wd yanmar also. How he got by with 2wd I'm leaning for somthing around 30 Hp. my YM2000 has been very dependable but I'm going to need a little more Hp. and it's looking like I may have two farms to keep up with. That is why your setup had me looking at it HARD.......

Deep my 8X22 measure 49" outside to outside. Are you sure you have your Rims spun to give them the widest stance? You would be maxed out with a 5' BH. HP. Carey

Carey, my YM1700 has 8.3 x 24" and has a wheel span of 49" as well, I would have thought your ym2000 would've had the same 24"'s or larger are 22" factory equipped for the ym2000 ?
My plans were to try and find a wider wheel But yet still keep the 24" size and then use 12" wide tire on this wheel, would estimate gaining 6-8" wider giving a total of 55"-57" span... of course this is just approximating I may not find the 12" x 24" wheels, although I do know this size tires are available, it would be a matter of finding the wheel with the correct bolt pattern,.....
I have a 4 ft brush cutter myself and would use anything larger with my tractor, I was simply mistaken about the size he had on his 1610d .. from the picture it looked as wide as the tire span he mentioned being 5 ft..... Kinda like when catching and holding a fish stretched out away from you while taking a picture, a 1 lb bass can be made to look like a 10 lb fish
ritchieb, I know you done your research and found what size tires had to be used to match the ratio, but what other size wheels did you find while researching? did you find any 12 x 24" with the bolt pattern our Ym use?

Sorry about that DND. It does have the 9.0/9.5 x 24 Bridgestone lug Specials. They are made in Japan with Jap.writing. I was looking at having to most likely replace them from the Dry Cracks on them when I bought it. I had that size in my notes of some I found on CL. for sale. I would have to say that they are original the Lugs are HUGE. Steve at Spalding was right when he said they would prob. last forever. I've had it 3Yrs. with no wear what so ever and never had to add any air except when I put some valve stem caps on it that opened the valve just enough to leak :ashamed:

Carey, IYO what would be the widest tire you could put on the 9.0 rim? could a 12" tire fit? or more like a 11"? If I can find a 9" wide rim I'm sure I could live with using a 11" wide tire over the current 8.3 size running now,
