1635 hydraulic filter

Wow! That is a lot for that Toyota to haul!

I know this is off subject, but I see you have a Woods BX70 backhoe. How do you like it? Why did you choose the Woods over the MF backhoe? Do you find you use it enough to justify the cost? I'm considering getting a backhoe for my 1643.

I purchased the Wood's because of the curve boom for my last tractor MF 1532 and transferred it to this one. Lots of power, 8' reach would be nicer though. It was about the same cost as a MF, I don't it will ever pay for itself, but allows me to start and finish jobs along, moving boulders and burying them, drain ditchs or just loading equipment on my trailer makes it with while to me.

I assume you have a HST? I have the 1643, so it maybe a little different, but on mine, the hydraulic fluid filter is on the 'driver side' under the step just in front of the rear tire on the frame. Its painted the same color as the frame from the factory, so it blends in pretty well. I recently changed mine and the fluid. Figured its cheap (relatively speaking) insurance to change the filter and fluid at 50 hours.

You have a 1643 with hydrostat? Tell me all your likes/dislikes about the unit.
