bought my 1705 in 2015..I don't use it nearly as much as you folks do..It has 190 hrs on it.
I use it to mow the lawn and snow blow the driveway. Those are the only attachments I have although I've kicked my butt a few times for not getting the bucket. lol
Mine has been stored inside since the day it was delivered and the only issue I've had (my fault) was last winter the fuel line slushed up on me. I had put summer grade fuel in it and didn't burn it out before it got cold.
New filter and some fuel anti freeze and she was back to normal.

Get the larger deck and watch your ears(tail lights)

I take my lights off in the summer. First time I mowed the lawn I broke one off on the corner of the house. :(

Huh. Never thought of that. On my Kubota the lights have been long ago busted.

I only put them on because I turn around on our street when I'm snow blowing and I want to be seen.

"I also have quick attach for my forks and my bucket which is probably one of the best purchases."

Can you post pics of this setup? Information on brand, etc.

Thanks. I've owned my 1715 for roughly the same time frame, love the tractor.
