Has anyone checked to see if the engine can be adapted over to water cooled?

You could gut the thing and put in a water cooled engine and belt powered hydraulic pump. Maybe a small, Kubota turbo diesel?
But seriously, I don't think there is a cost effective way to convert an oil cooled engine to water cooled engine.
