Finally heading home and 2 weeks off to work on tha "basket". Tomorrow we send the engine to the machine shop and install the sherman. Then some more prep work ane sheet metal prep. Hope to get a lot done this time around.:cool2:

Sherman is in and made a lot of progress on a lot of small parts, sanding, priming etc. Can't wait to get the engine back so I can get it back to rolling so I can take it to the blasting shed to get it finished. Guess I will just have to work on the other million pieces and get em ready for paint...LOL

Somebody must have been in this basket not long ago because the tranny gears and bearings are spotless. Look at the jack shaft I just took out and the sherman took it's place, bearing and gear are brand new, just like a lot of the gears and bearings in the tranny:cool2:

Is about time the basket gave me some positive encouragement, instead of the usual, this is wrong or worn and you have to replace it:dance1:

Looks good. Now you are rolling. All the small stuff will take a little time but now you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. A steering wheel might help maneuver it back into the shop.
