Today I learned it is smoother to set the revs where I want before letting out the clutch. It accelerates so quick and the throttle is too touchy to advance in little increments without wheel spin and lifting the front end a bit.
Anyone have any ideas on how to "Gear Down" the 8N linkage as it pulls back on the carb throttle?
I sent back the Dowden foot throttle because I couldn't figure out how to make it work on the 302 since it does not have a governor now. It is meant to hook up to the governor rod.
