Many years ago, tracks like that were used around here quite a bit, on several different brands of tractors. Mostly to use on soft ground, like in "muck" fields...

I've seen those tracks a lot lately. There's a Farmall 140 on Craigslist with a set for sale right now

Well i'm still waiting for some decent amount of snow to fall. So far we've only had 3 inches at one time but if the wind doesn't blow at gale force levels we may get some good accumulation so i can really test this toy out. I Think anything over two foot would try it's metal good. Can't wait. I Did notice the fuel has a hard time igniting in the cold temps so i'm going to try one of those magnetic engine oil pan heaters to radiate some heat upwards in the engine and i'm thinking of adding a ether spray line from the cab to the carb. intake tube to help it start a little easier. They have a brand of ether up here that has a tube attached to the nozzle and i was thinking of getting a three or four foot length of the small gas tube they use on weed eaters and run it down and thru a drilled rubber stopper in the side of the tube going to the carburetor so i can give it a squirt from inside the cab. I Have one of those plastic fire extinguisher wall mounts that i can clamp the can to inside the cab so that might help me a good bit to get started quicker.
