1959 impala vs 2009 impala crash test video

I would like to see the 09 impala go against a 74 chevy impala with the 200 lb factory front bumper. I think the 09 would have fit in the trunk of the 74 after the crash test.

Aczlan, thanks for the specs. I was suprised the 59 did not weigh more. I went ahead and searched the 74 Impala weights, The 74 Impala 2dr weight was listed at 4,167 lbs to 4,256 lbs. I had a 1960 Impala Convert.
It had a 350 C I V8 with a racing cam and 3 duces.

It Weighed 4000 pounds But that didn't slow it down.

When I was a kid, we had a '52 Chrysler Imperial. In the mid-sixties, my Mom was rear-ended in traffic; she didn't realize she'd been hit until the driver of the other car tapped on her window...his car was seriously crumped, but hardly a ding on the Imperial.
That was a great car, but I'll still stick with the ones made in this century.
