Since you don't have multi-power the leaage is likely the transmission input shaft seal. If the transmission is severely over full, the seal may under greater pressure and may leak. A drop or two is very common.

Changing the fluid and getting it to the proper level may solve the problem. There should be a hydraulic filter screen that needs cleaning, accessible through the PTO lever cover.

If you had multi-power, the leak could be very expensive to fix. That's why I asked.

Thanks for all the help.

I agree that the leakage is likely from the transmission input shaft seal.

However, be careful to determine whether the tractor has live PTO or independent PTO (IPTO) before removing the the PTO lever cover. If it has IPTO then there are actually two hydraulic pumps (with separate filters):
  1. hydraulic lift pump
  2. hydraulic PTO pump
For IPTO it will be necessary to remove the top cover to gain access to the hydraulic filters. To service the hydraulic lift pump filter the pressure regulating valve must be removed. The PTO pump has a separate filter which you should service (clean with solvent and compressed air) at this time. You will want a service manual and parts book for working on this tractor. The attached photo shows the hydraulic pumps for an IPTO-equipped MF 135. You can clearly see why you wouldn't want to remove the PTO lever cover without first disconnecting the pressure port line from the PTO lever cover on IPTO tractors.

Hope this helps.
