Yeah i really should put some time into beautifiing the 3000 - but i am already using it to disc a field.
I am always amazed at the torqueiness of these old ford diesels, if the tires start to spin just back off the throttle a little and she just leans in plugs along and once past the goo just increase the throttle back up and go.
It got me thinking just how torquey the 3 and 4 cylinder Fords are and just how impressively flat the torque curve is... no problem pulling @ even 900 rpm If anyone has built a tractor engine with a much flatter torque curve it would surprise me....
