1978 Power King Transmission

Any help would be very much appreciated. I'm new to the website, and to the tractor I bought today. The transmission sounds like a thrashing machine when it's in neutral, and being pushed by hand engine not running. So my question is anybody know where I can find a transmission, or the parts to rebuild this one. It is a Borg Warner T-92. I have been told that this basic transmission was used by Speedex, Power King, and several others. Crosley supplied the original transmissions, and later on, the parts for the different tractor manufacturers, who decided to build their own.

Don't mean to sound obvious but do you have any old power king dealers near you. If not there is one in Wheeler Indiana. I know he stockpiles some used parts. The name of the dealer is berks lawn and garden. I'm sure shipping would be quite expensive but if you can't find something local maybe this would be an option. I know there is a power King club also it would probably be a good resource. But I can't remember the name of it. Try doing a web search and see if it pops up if not post back up here i'll see if I can find the name of that club for you. But any help I will be able to provide is going to be in my region and quite far from you.

Misson Manufacturing is the place to go. I've got a 77 PK. Do you have the single transmisson or the dual. They are both the same. If it is the transmission they run about $500 dollars. But they are extremely easy to work on so if you need a specific part then it will be much less. You can download the parts manual which will cover all of the PKs. Mission can have your parts in a very quick time. Anything that I needed arrived within about a week.
