Not to be redundant but my tractor came with thermo gauge as well as a thermocouple that is mounted to the radiator on one side and what seems to be a veristor/pot on the dash side. Could someone please think through this with me in that what's the need for the pot in series to the LED? Two options, 1) increase/decrease LED intensity, or 2) set thermocouple to activate LED at a set/known overheat temperature. I guess I could let the tractor overheat and discover what that temp should be![]()

Yanmars don't come with any of that stuff. Some electronic hack has added it for who knows what reason.
