Well, it's a done deal. Michigan iron is delivering my new CK35 tomorrow. They are putting it together now. I drove and liked the LS but is was $2400 more and the dealer was more than an hour from my house. MIE will pick my tractor up for free if I have any problems. The LS dealer would have to charge me.
Thank you for all the replies. I'll let you know how it goes.

Congrats, can't wait for pics!

I have not shopped new tractors in a few years, but believe Kioti makes a great product at best price.
Enjoy your new machine, I think you will be very happy

Michigan Iron is a family run business the whole staff is top shelf. These folks will not just supply you with a tractor and run off. They will stick around for ever with excellent skills to support you & the investment in your tractor. I bought a CK20 with backhoe seven years ago from Denise and Bob. You wll not regret your choice of dealing with this fine tractor store. If I ever get another tractor., it has to be a tractor from these guys despite the fact that I live 200 miles away.

Spent a little time in the woods with the new CK tonight. This is going to be a great tool for me. Here is my picture.

Nice! You're definitely going to want a counterweight for it. Kioti specs 700lbs, so your average box blade, or mower won't allow you to fully take advantage of the loader (and will be a pain when you're in the woods).

I agree on the counterweight. But I don't think my Gannon box blade extends from the 3 point hitch any further than a ballast box would. I'm sure it sticks out a little further than your homemade ballast box does but I wonder how much further.

Next time I'm at my property where the tractor is, I'll measure the distance from the tips of the lower lift arms to the back of the Gannon. If you could do the same with your ballast box, it would be interesting to compare the distance.

The farther it sticks out the less weight you need.
